CUSA East schools can’t be closer than what many have expressed wanting UNT to be in a proposed MWC East as a member with some schools from CUSA West in it—-that would be the only way to make it work. MWC has more Top 25 programs that makes CUSA look like NCAA football novices. 🤔Who knows, maybe USU can return a big favor & sponsor us one day in such a MWC East division setup?

The NM Bowl is only about 50 miles further from DFW than the New Orleans Bowl. Interesting. GMG!

There you go. I think the NM Bowl will be a barn-burner & if we beat the Top 25 USU Aggies maybe that translates to pre-2019 Top 25 votes leading up to the UHouston game at Apogee & then the PAC12 Cal Bears also in Apogee. There is a path for Top 25 rankings in Denton—both OldDenton & NewDenton!

North Texas did a huge favor for USU when we led the way to sponsor them for SBC membership. They were most appreciative of our school for helping them, too. The Aggies will be the first ranked team (#25) for our favorite school to play in a bowl game. That makes this a very special opportunity for the Mean Green.

Hell! Just send us to the Siberia🇻🇳Bowl then we can also find out who been colluding with who!

YOU’LL BE GLAD YOU DIDN’T. • Below video is that bar on Wildcat Night! One of their favorites was entertaining on WIldcat Football Night! Note: The bikers in the bar all played on Snyder’s team that had to make a last second/last play score to beat North Texas. Sad. GMG!

If UNT wants to ever distinguish itself from the conglomeration of Texas G5’s we might follow the TCU model which had (an even then) G5 TCU athletic program tell their longtime bosom buddy school SMU— “SEE YA’ LATER—WE’RE OUTTA’ HERE!🖐

If Littrell leaves for KSU they were ranked 109’th in national recruiting last I checked. Wonder how long we would keep our top ranked G5 recruiting class?🤔😥

Is that undergrads, because they are larger than UNT in overall enrollment (albeit barely). Check out UTA!😳 While we weren’t looking UTA & TS-San Marcos passed our favorite school in enrollment. 💰💰💰Would be interesting to see TS-San Marcos endowment coffers vs North Texas. GMG! PS: I still like our favorite school’s future although others seemed to have caught up & even passed us with aggressive undergraduate recruiting.

He may not take the KSU job because he knows there will be a better gig later if he’s only patient now. He also knows he’s the only coach North Texas has had with a university’s divine trinity of ✅1) the President, ✅(2) BOR’s & ✅(3) the AD all simultaneously functioning in a most positive way with the ✅ added bonus of having recently developed major donors the last 10 or so years fully supporting him. All of that may cause him to stay in Denton. 🙄Minutes ago GMG.com had almost 500 visiting guests. Wonder if they are all personal friends of Dorothy & Todo?🌪

Texas Tech hired North Texas Coach Jerry Moore who departed Denton after only 2 seasons with an unimpressive .500 W/L record so you never know what P5 College AD soothsayers will do. (Jerry Moore’s 3’rd HFC’s gig proved to be a charm for him). Best news for North Texas if Littrell is offered & leaves is I don’t think Wren Baker will disappoint us with SL’s replacement. ✅ With our burgeoning athletic facilities & location toward the top of our school’s own list of positive benefits, it’s easy to say the North Texas job is one of the top 5 G5 jobs that will be sought by numerous quality coaches. Some of the name coaches that apply (if we have an opening) may surprise many. An established (older) new UNT HFC who has done all the courting & moving up the NCAA ladder that a young coach will (understandably) do might be the ticket for UNT this next go around; that is, if Littrell is offered by KSU & accepts. (Would it be a shocker if he didn’t)?😊 GMG!

Beyond crappy. That would really make us want to be bowl eligible next year, now wouldn't it? 😞 G5 is not where I thought North Texas would be after my Junior year in 1975 but for those who've never been anywhere except G5 (or the equivalent) I guess it really doesn't matter to them, now does it?
