I was just thinking that...

You guys may be super safe with this stuff- but a lot of my friends are not so smart. I'm amazed at the stuff people put online. Even though their profile may be blocked to non-friends, their friends are still seeing all the stupid stuff they put online. It's going to come back and bite them at some point.

Must be losing your hearing in your old age. Why would you do that? Would you ever go to a football coach after a game and tell him that his team looked worse that the opponent? Why would you do that?

I don't know about that, we haven't really faced any decent trumpet players yet. This week will be a good test. I will say, we have a TON of depth at the trumpet position. Literally 40+ (I think 50) trumpets. So we've got depth at trumpet, which will come in handy in the 4th quarter when people's chops start to get tired.

Then why does the image from the article written yesterday show the top part being all nice and chrome and silver? Weird.

I hereby declare: I am no longer acknowledging trolls that want the Green Brigade to be something that it isn't. --- On a side note: I was at the BOA contest this weekend working in the press box at Apogee. I saw the GB give the exhibition performance.... The sound they pumped out was basically amazing. It was so freaking awesome.

I'm thinking the fire with Apogee in the background is going to make for some nice pictures. Or somebody taking pictures up in the wingszone seats looking down. Either way, photo opportunities abound!

I'm super excited about all the attention we're getting preseason. And all three of the match ups that you metnion NTGabe15 will keep us in the talk with all the midmajors throughout the season.

I think the GB and Cheerleaders might have something to say about being the most spirited group. Blue Jump Suits? We aren't FAU, MTSU, FIU, South Al, or any other team that wears blue that we play. Off the top of my head: Eagles (birds that fly) + Green Flight Suit = Great Uniform (keep your jump suit, and now it's green) Also- there has to be something you can do by making the canon crew, talons, green flight suit, militant theme... There's something there.

People that gave me -2... What's your reasoning. The offense at the very least put the kicker in the position to get some points.

From what I'm being told, I will be hosting a dRunk contest just before the dunk contest.

We'll see if that crowd is still CUSA ready after they play some real opponents.

I would say that we aren't allowed to blame the kicker if he misses one or two (especially if they're long). But the 40-49 yard field goal is where nearly half of his kicks have been taken from. It's the yardage window that takes the most kicks. You simply cannot miss this window three times in one game. The kicker is there to at least get SOMETHING if the offense did stall. Keep in my mind, we left at least 5 FG's on the field on Saturday. I'm counting the two times we went for it on 4th and 10+ in FG range. We went for it their because Coach didn't trust Olen. I understand that the last time we went for it on 4th was with about 4-5 minutes left (and we needed to go for it)., but if we make some FG's before that, we wouldn't have needed to go for it. The kicker missing three FG's caused us 15 points from 5 missed opportunies and 3 missed FG's. The offense may have not been able to score, but they gained yardage and got us into position to get at least some points. The Kicker, NOT the offense lost the game for the Mean Green.
