MY good buddy went to watch a Liverpool match at Anfield. He said it was amazing. If I ever make it across to England- that's where I'll be going.

The European Football scene is extremely interesting. Way more tournaments, player movement, fan loyalty, etc. I wish I had time to watch more matches. I've only seen three or four Liverpool games live. But like you, I will watch any match that is on. I watched the Barcelona game this weekend for example.

When Hicks owned the Rangers, and Stars- he also owned Liverpool. Additionally, my best friend is super into Liverpool. So I've taken quite the liking to them and their history. FYI, Hicks is the same uality owner in England as he is in America from what I've learned.

I hope Charlie doesn't go- but I imagine he's gone. He was always talking to us pep band folks- and I always came right onto the court to say hello during the pre-game warm ups. I hope he does well wherever he goes.

I had to choose between an orchestra concert when they were interviewing for a new Maestro... And it was scheduled on the night of the Oklahoma State game a few years ago!!! The audacity of UNT Music. I wish all UNT organizations would consult the athletics schedule. We're lucky our ensemble directors haven't left. But last time I checked, I think most of the band/orchestra/choir directors just rent their houses anyways.

<wipes forehead> Of the original thee names we'd been hearing- I thought we should start saying our good-byes to JJ. I'm glad that the LSU board is throwing around more names. At least it lowers the chances the JJ is the guy. It's especially nice that he isn't the 'frontrunner' as it were.

That would not be good to lose him the year after we gave him a new contract. You would think the buy out would be larger. We had to have some idea that he would be highly sought after sooner or later.
