I'm really missing the uniform thread.

Does anyone know the date.

The real start of football season every year is when Dave Campbell's mag hits the news stand. I can't wait. I've also been collecting them for years so if anyone has any old issues from the early sixtys let me know.

Clark Overlander UNT basketball commit won the MVP for the 3A state championship game today. That's 2 for 2 in MVP's for the Mean Green.

Not sure what a 6'2"forward will do for coach Jones

Greatest High School Running Back You Ever Saw Play?

I played against Earl Campbell in a bi district game in 1973. Our Plano HS team had the best defense in the state that year and Earl beat us 34-0. I knew Paul Rice and I saw Dickerson, James and Benson play live. Imo none could hold Earl's jock -
Cooper Jones, Week 7 Tip of the Spear!

From a leadership stand point I love to see the 4 QB's in the top 20 in points and 3 in the top 10. -
Darius White aka" D Money " would be a great addition to N.T. He is a fine young man and a tremendous athlete. My son played AAU basketball with D Money and he is a good kid.

May be a big no-no but thanks Hopeful.

I know I saw some info on the location for the UNT tailgate in Tulsa. I can't find it again, could someone please help. Thanks

All of our QB's wear a brace on their plant leg. I did notice DT limping after a hit but I don't think it bothered him for long. I think our WR saved an other pick when he took the ball out of the hands of an IU defender in the end zone for a TD. DT is no different than most young QB's in this position. He will still make mistakes but I think they will be fewer and fewer as the season progresses.

Have it on good authority it was all coach Mac's deal to put the freshman in at the goal line. IMO if HC mandates giving the job to the freshman we may be looking for a new OC next year. Positives + + + Great bloodline with father and brother having played div. 1 football + + + Seems to be a gamer. + + + The freshman is the fastest QB on the team. Negatives - - - Not sure he has a div. 1 arm - - - Smallest QB on the team ? ? ? Do the fans and the people on this board have the stomach to put up with the learning curve that a freshman QB would have to endure this season?
-
I'd also like to see McNulty get some snaps (maybe a whole series or two); would be a great learning experience running the offense against one of the best teams in the nation.

Needed many more restrooms. The area between the lake and the Victory lot should have porta-johns and several more through out the Victory lot. Saw a lot of men standing behind the car door but its not much help for the ladies.

Which road games are you planning on attending ?

All but the first one. We will be at Rudy's in Allen for that one. -
I was told that fall camp is closed to the public.

I know the freshman move to west side of 35 into the athletic dorms on Thursday. Pictures are also on Thursday and the first practice is on Friday.

That drive from Pecos to EP is sooooooo "scenic"

Freshman reported on July 7th and have been working out as a unit for the first two weeks before joining the rest of the team next week. As I understand freshman QBs have been throwing with the upperclassmen after their respective workouts.
