  1. Sarah Fuller, the first female athlete to play Power 5 conference football, is back playing college soccer -- but at a new school.Fuller has returned to her home state of Texas to play for North Texas after a memorable 2020 fall campaign in soccer and football. In November, she won the starting goalkeeper job for Vanderbilt and helped the Commodores win the SEC soccer tournament title for the first time since 1994. After the season ended, she was drafted into place-kicking for the winless Vandy football team after COVID-19 contact tracing thinned the corps of kickers.Wearing "Play Like A Girl" on her helmet, Fuller got to kick off in a game against Missouri and then went 2-for-2 on extra points in the SEC game against Tennessee two weeks later.Fuller was even chosen to introduce Vice President Kamala Harris during a presidential inauguration event in January and attended the ESPY Awards. She even has an official store, where she sells her own apparel under the terms of the new NIL rules. read more: https://www.socceramerica.com/publications/article/89790/sarah-fuller-is-back-on-the-soccer-field-at-nor.html
  2. Yeah I think the issue was he had a bad injury and everyone backed off. I see he had no other offers.
  3. Yes but I thought if they moved Mose off of center he would have taken Daizons spot. That was a surprise. Starting on last years losing team is not necessarily a badge of pride.
  4. Biggest surprise I see is former walk on Daizon Carroll as the projected starter at guard. Keep in mind, Carroll was a big prospect coming out of Waco but I think he had a knee injury in high school or some such and it cooled wveryone off.
  5. I get what you’re saying and the truth is Aune transferred to Arkansas first before coming to UNT. I always was wondering why did Chad Morris let him leave after spring ball unless he couldn’t cut the mustard for them uo there and whatnot.
  6. Haha exactly. I just don't pay a lot of attention around here until game 2. That will be the first real test. Anything prior to that is just hubub to sell more season tickets.
  7. I just had the EXACT same thought -- these weights are WAAAAAAYYY off. I justsawr a vid with Chris Wright #35 and there is no way he is 220... no way! The roster is wrong.
  8. For today, this article will focus solely upon how the members of the American Athletic Conference (AAC) rank in terms of Big 12 membership. The prime candidates from the AAC include, by alphabetical order: Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, SMU, and UCF. read more: https://news.google.com/articles/CBMiZ2h0dHBzOi8vd3d3LnNpLmNvbS9jb2xsZWdlL3VjZi91bml2ZXJzaXR5LW9mLWNlbnRyYWwtZmxvcmlkYS1mb290YmFsbC9yYW5raW5nLXRoZS1hYWMtdGVhbXMtZm9yLXRoZS1iMTLSAWxodHRwczovL3d3dy5zaS5jb20vY29sbGVnZS91Y2YvLmFtcC91bml2ZXJzaXR5LW9mLWNlbnRyYWwtZmxvcmlkYS1mb290YmFsbC9yYW5raW5nLXRoZS1hYWMtdGVhbXMtZm9yLXRoZS1iMTI?hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen
  9. A Swiss Army knife or gadget back is defined as a a running back that gets 30 runs and 40 receptions in a season. It is a very rare player that can do this in a season. A name that comes to mind is Eric Metcalf.
  10. So well stated. Bodie Reeder was a terrible hire but good gracious Seth has had so damn many. Reffett, Clint Bowen who wanted to kick the twins off the team, Langston and the list goes on into eternity.
  11. I went back in 2017 for the game against Troy. Didn’t enjoy the game that much but loved the location and atmosphere. We stayed at the JW Marriott and had a blast. Was hoping maybe we still had a chance to get there again with this improved squad.
  12. Hearing he’s good but the transfer from ACU is a beast. D-Line will be much improved. Linebackers still too small though and secondary depth thin.
  13. After the disaster of what was the Les Miles experience, the Jayhawks turned to Lance Leipold who is known for uplifting struggling programs. During his time at D-III school Wisconsin-Whitewater, he won a total of six championships. He also had great success at the University of Buffalo. The Jayhawks only averaged a little over 15 points per game last season, and were horrible on the offensive line. There have been reports out of Lawrence that the new strength program there has players making fantastic transformations, and looking much stronger. They also landed North Texas transfer Jason Bean, who is an elite dual-threat, who threw for 14 touchdowns in the seven games he started. I think it will be a new and improved program, that will no longer be the punching bag of the Big 12. I can see them stealing three wins in Big 12 play, which would be the first time they have had more than one since 2008. With the new coach and culture, it will be a refreshed program that will take a much needed positive step in the right direction. read more: https://sports.yahoo.com/big-12-football-five-bold-185718362.html
  14. Seems like Littrell does this a lot. Harken back to Alec Morris the Alabama transfer QB. He was sort of like an insurance policy in case Greer or whoever didn't work out and whatnot.
  15. Aune has gotten a LOT better. Completely different player than he was last year. Is checking off receivers and making deep throws consistently. Stays in the pocket and spiral is crisp. Is asserting himself as the team leader.
  16. Very saddened by this news. Always thought highly of him and his family. Obviously a very smart young man. Look forward to seeing where he may land now and wish him the best.
