  1. Well I think you may be being a tad picky. Jimbo and Nick Saban are not available. Let's be open minded.
  2. If Petersen had one inking of interest we should sign him on the spot. Proven winner.
  3. This could be our next guy. He did a fabulous job with that Utah State team that wacked us and he certainly has learned from his mistakes at Texas Tech. Hopefully Wren is calling him right away.
  4. I like Fuente as well. Not sure about the rest. Who is the guy with the sunglasses?
  5. Can we all just cut through the BS involved with this disastrous season and start talking about who our next hire needs to be? Not will be because we won't know that till the end of the season. I mean, when the eyes of the nation our looking amongst us after the significant American addition, we spit the bit and look like one of the worst programs in FBS.
  6. Man you hit the nail on the head. This guy is a rainmaker and it shows in everything he says and does. He just seems like a winner. I have never been this excited about the future of UNT.
  7. Excited? I'm more than excited -- I am THRILLED!
  8. Now that it looks like we have joined the AAC, Tom Herman would be the perfect fit to return to college football as the next head coach of the University of North Texas. Tom was a fantastic coach at Houston and a big part of why they are now joining the Big 12 and become a coveted P5 program. I tend to think that if he returns to college coaching, North Texas would be a terrific fit. I know some will say Tom is a reach for us but I think he would like to get back into the game and show his ability to build a G5 program. Tom will not come cheap but North Texas needs a proven winner and Tom has proven he can get us to the top of the AAC in short order.
  9. 4-5 years? I mean with hole Seth has dug us into it could take some time. I think we will have to be patient. Obviously basketball is another story as I expect us to win right away.
  10. Why can’t they not charge exit fees to us and in turn we won’t charge exit fees to the belch and it overall lowers everyone’s payouts?
  11. You do understand that the SMU AD Rik Hardt was directly involved on the selection committee? I seriously doubt he was choosing teams based on the possibility they may get an invite to the Big 12. Let’s be very clear that SMU is a long shot to get in the Big 12 as TCU aid against them joining as probably is Tech and many others.
  12. https://athleticdirectoru.com/articles/athletic-department-power-index-american/ this is from 2019-2020 I believe: AAC 1. Connecticut: $78,417,676 2. SMU: $64,607,467 3. Central Florida: $60,069,492 4. Temple: $55,933,640 5. Memphis: $55,464,035 6. Houston: $55,344,923 7. South Florida: $51,710,233 8. Tulane: $48,417,254 9. Cincinnati: $48,384,869 10. East Carolina: $43,689,985 11. Tulsa: $40,796,150 12. Wichita State: $30,044,096
  13. Why is that? Wyoming? New Mexico? San Jose State. Come on man you don't really believe that crapola do you? Hey maybe after they add UTEP they will be better.
  14. If so that is pretty cool and should help with the recruits.
  15. scary talk amongst the Sun Belt schools. They are looking to damage the CUSA leftover schools it appears. This is important as it could have an impact of exit fees. https://csnbbs.com/thread-932392.html
  16. Do we still have to pay exit fees? Sounds like Belch will offer a couple like Southern Miss and WKu so it’s a possibility right?
  17. I for one am SUPER excited about this. What a fantastic league this will be and so many close roadies. Real rivalries and some great fanbases to boot. Love that Rice is coming and even though we hate UAB and UTSA they are solid additions as well. GREAT DAY to be Mean and Green!
  18. Better than Memphis? Wichita State? Temple?
