  2. Yeah a lot of promise but no proof in the pudding as of yet. I do hope like heck you are right tho.
  3. You really going to throw that out there with absolutely no supporting documentation? At least give us your reasons why or get the hell out of here with that.
  4. Agreed. If we had a legit post we would easily be in the top 25 in the entire nation.
  5. And the offensive line will be a big drop off losing their best player in Febeche.
  6. Haha they sound like our fans after a loss TempleUForever Posted on 2 hrs, , User Since 129 months ago, User Post Count: 11054 2 hrs 129 months 11054 Fisher needs to get it together. This is straight up disgusting. I don’t even care to watch Temple sports anymore. Think I’m about to say get out of this conference.
  7. Great victory for Coach Mac and Tech today over K-State. Kind of had an odd ending though. Tylor had a tough game, going 5 of 15, and 4 of 11 from three pointers with four turnovers. Anyone know if Grant offered Tylor?
  8. Yes it appears he will have two full years with us.
  9. Sure hope so!
  10. Dammit Lifer, you worry too much. Enjoy a good win with 2 of our starters out why dontcha?
  11. Great addition and the one we wanted the most!
  12. Wow this team may be better than we thought.
  13. Defense came to play
  14. I think Rubin's defensive skills are top notch. That needs to be taken in consideration when discussing lineups. I also think he is the best ball handler on the team although he is not a true point guard. The kid we just signed is though.
  15. Love his effort. Results are still up in the air. We are not dominating in AAC recruiting to the level I expected or hoped at this point.
  16. the GOAT! Also NIL is killing this sport people!
  17. Bright futures ahead for these two.
  18. A great accomplishment indeed. Jason is just getting started it seems.
  19. Excuse me if I post one other excerpt, this one really grabbed me at pertinent to the situation and how I feel about the changes (not good): In the long term, these changes to college football seem potentially fatal. Sure, in the short term, they’ll work: I’m as excited to watch next year’s 12-team College Football Playoff as anyone. But in the long term, when you pattern yourself after the NFL in order to get some of their television juice, when you jettison the traditions and orthodoxies that made people fall in love with the sport in the first place, you stop being college football: You simply become Minor League NFL. And no one cares about minor league anything.
  20. On Monday night, college football as we know it will end. After Michigan plays Washington in the College Football Playoff Championship Game in Houston, the sport will fundamentally reconstruct itself. Washington, UCLA, USC and Oregon will join the Big Ten; Oklahoma and Texas will join the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The College Football Playoff will expand to 12 teams, while the Pac-12, a conference that originated in 1915, just three years after Arizona became a state, will wither and die. This is the end. And it is also, of course, just the start. What did 2023 teach us about what we should be prepared for in the years to come? Here are six lessons from The Last Season Of College Football As We Knew It. The death of conferences is only beginning The death of the Pac-12, a conference that went from having its own cable channel to no longer existing seemingly overnight, is one of the more stunning things to happen in college sports in decades. Its disappearance leaves only four major conferences, but if you’re in the Big 12 or (especially) the ACC, you shouldn’t breathe all that easy just yet. read more: https://www.cnn.com/2024/01/06/opinions/college-football-playoff-championship-leitch?cid=ios_app
