  1. I think we have had some great players and you have listed many. I might add Jaelon Darden and Cody Spencer were our two highest drafted players in the modern era. I also think Brian Waters who has been up for NFL Hall of Fame consideration and my retro pick is Cedric Hardeman who was a 1st round draft choice in the NFL and tremendous pass rusher. He had a 12 year career in the NFL and USFL.
  2. SMU is having a heck of a recruiting run. Hate to see them do well tho.
  3. Is he willing to participate on special teams? If he can deep snap or has good hands he might be able to find a spot on special teams. Wish him and your family the best! GMG
  4. Welcome to the Mean Green family!
  5. I agree and losing the OSU transfer really hurt along with Anaterrius Grey.
  6. It would be cool if we could contribute money to a particular player we like or reward players with cash donations after a well played ball game or a sack etc. thoughts?
  7. Yes, we need conference brethren. But they need us (and Oklahoma) more than we need them. A package deal of Texas and Oklahoma, just the two, would make every conference in the country snap to attention and light up the phone lines. We are the IT factor. As Reggie Jackson famously said, "We are the straw that stirs the drink." We should not accept, or support, conference members, or prospective members, that have a smaller reach, fewer resources, than we do – simply because it makes sense on the map. We can do this because we can deliver significant as in massive dollars and lots of TV viewers and plenty of fans who will travel anywhere, given program success and the right conference membership. Much more on this in my overview of the Big 12. read more: https://www.burntorangenation.com/2021/6/30/22557783/ut-needs-to-be-part-of-a-stronger-conference
