As a Mean Green fan who enjoys following the recruiting battles without following each recruit on Twitter, I actually appreciate Vito getting this information out to his followers.
In my opinion, it's much more valuable than the 5 point lists DMN requires him to produce

Well done as always, Ashton!
Managed to touch all the key elements of the off season to date in a way that both provided a general summary while also allowing us unique access to the process (ex: in the segment covering National Signing Day we get a picture of the commitment board allowing viewers to become familiar with most of the names but the narrative focused on the coaches/coordinators themselves as *they congratulated those commits)
*interesting call to leave in a shot of Ek congratulating a recruit
Was it just me or did B. Garner look noticeably leaner? Wonder if they're asking him to be lighter/faster this year (or maybe it was just camera angles

jdennis82's post in Chancellor - Feb Regional Combine was marked as the answer
Throughout the scouting process, I've sort of looked at Michigan WR Jeremy Gallon as the nearest comp to Brelan.
Jeremy Gallon - "Stocky, strong slot receiver with more of a running back's build, Gallon possesses the hands, zone awareness and toughness to fend for a job in the pros. Lacks the top-end speed desired as a kick returner, but shows enough burst to warrant an opportunity fielding punts." Comparing Gallon's combine/pro day results with Brelan's numbers... WR Jeremy Gallon, Michigan (2014) Height/weight: 5-8, 185
Vertical: 39.5 inches
Broad jump: 10 feet, 10 inches
40-yard dash: 4.49 seconds
WR Brelan Chancellor, North Texas (2014)
Height/weight: 5-8, 188
Vertical: 39.5 inches
Broad jump: 9 feet, 9 inches
40-yard dash: 4.66 seconds
Hopefully, Brelan can improve on the numbers Wednesday because I have zero doubt he'll be on someone's roster this fall, I'd just love to hear his name called from the Radio City Music Hall podium.

jdennis82's post in Will less than 5 wins ruin UNT football for another 5-7+ years? was marked as the answer
I'm all for high expectations around here and dissatisfaction with under-performance, but let's not forget or incorrectly prioritize the fact that DMac had 2 rebuilding projects when he got here:
1. Classroom performance
2. Football performance
He's accomplished #1. That bought him patience for #2 which I expect him to demonstrate in 2013.
Will it translate to wins? I don't know, but my expectation is a team that ends the year with momentum that can be built on and promoted leading to 2014 when anything short of a bowl bid is unacceptable.
