wow. i would love to see him make the roster but he's not even getting 10 mins/game in the summer league.

greendozer, a very good question to pose since we're dragging for worthwhile talk around here. i typically just get questions about if we'll ever be "good" meaning on the level of UT, A&M... i've never seen too many people who have a green stone in their ring but i do too and get questions about it pretty frequently. most seem to like the fact that i wanted to make sure there was green in it but their question is really just to ask where i went to school.

i agree. i think our QB play will improve. i loved riley's playmaking ability but we may see a better passing game from these two starters because neither are injured. i'm convinced riley's shoulder was nagging him all year last season which limited the playcalling.

can someone explain the benefit of wearing throwback unis? would it create a mad dash to meangreengear.com to purchase a replica? no. would fans come out to the game just to see them? no. would the team be inspired by the opportunity to wear the throwbacks? no. no matter how little the cost, i'd rather see that money used elsewhere.

i'd rather get rid of the white on white uniform. maybe a green helmet would change my mind. really, though, they can wear pink and i won't care if we start winning conference titles.

can i use all my allowed negatives for the day on this post? one is just not enough.

i actually think it's the perfect time to define the traditions that are currently in place. we're trying to do more than build a stadium, we're hoping the stadium will build a fan base. part of that is not only joining in on a random chant, but understanding it. it's not simply being startled by a cannon firing off, it's knowing the history of that cannon. it's not enjoying a fireworks show after a victory, it's knowing that there won't be one if we lose.

any short yardage plays run from under center? i heard a goaline series on the radio that seemed to be from the gun.

i thought he was just helping out that little girl. the ref was all over her pointing out spots that she missed, so he helped out. i didn't interpret it as some disrespect toward our guys. that said, i love seeing the wildcats lose because of the kstate fans sitting around me in the NORTH TEXAS section. i still can hear them whining about every foul call.

the byu crowd was pretty impressive and there were a lot of KU fans who bought tickets to both sessions. i have no doubt that if we'd been close in the second half, we would've picked up all of their support which would've been amazing.

i wasn't able to catch either newscast. can anyone find it online? i haven't been able to but i'm not as skilled online as some of you are.
