let's hold off on the idea of an FCS team until after we see how pathetic the attendance is over the next two weeks. plus, many people already consider us to be in FCS ourselves. if we start playing games against that level of competition, it would only further that perception.

i'm sure it won't happen, but (i know i'm late to the party with this video) but i'd love to see NT create a video for fouts imitating this guy to play before or during the game. it seems like something cuban would do in a heartbeat for the AAC.

thank you! now, i don't see how the spring/summer training program can't be held somewhat accountable for these injuries. the goal isn't to simply get bigger and faster, but equip the body to withstand the stress of a football season. so many injuries would suggest we could improve here.

this is a great idea! that's what i thought needed to happen. feature the green brigade as they should be featured, but incorporate the lettermen in the show.

good point eppy. if other lettermen were at the game and saw how the former players were shoved on and off the field, why would they sign up for that? now, i didn't get a program so hopefully there was something included in there.

preaching to the choir. i know it's frustrating but two things will impact 2nd half attendance. 1. weather 2. the first half it's proven year after year that the students will turn out for game 1 but they're doing so with a "show me something" attitude and they're incredibly impatient. if the first half has the excitement and fireworks that my first game at fouts did ('03 baylor), then they'll be sold.

if they're determined to have fireworks win or lose, how about a patriotic theme this time around? oh, and how about a win preceding the show?

i normally enjoy white on white but i've never liked the way ours looks. i can't put a finger on exactly why but they bore me.

i sat and watched the first drive and then turned it off. that first drive from minn is what every SBC wants to avoid in that scenario. to respond to a demoralizing start to the year is incredibly impressive. i know that i was pulling for them and i was hanging my head after they went down 0-7. it's not a W, but i was proud of our league brethren.

i realize this is a message board where anonymity emboldens even the most timid but if someone can't use a little discretion with their word choice, i'm simply choosing not to read their posts. personal choice. while i generally don't agree w/ daddyd's opinions, i haven't seen him use similar language.
