ACC Commish to $mu after the game today....

Our students and fans won't circle Texas St. on our schedule as a must-attend game. It sounds like you want visitor fans to fill our stadium. Texas St won't do that either. You will need an Okla St or Arkansas type fan base that travels for that.

Ok. I would prefer to play them in an OOC game than these worthless FCS games we schedule. But I stop at playing them yearly and trying to make a rivalry out of it. We should also be looking at New Mexico, Air Force, Colorado St, etc for games.

So, just curious about the whole Portal/NIL process thing with position players. Do these QBs shop themselves in the portal. Do they advertise what they would consider for their services? Does Coach Morris go to the $50K aisle to shop today or maybe the discounted $30K aisle to see if there are any good sales or returns marked down?

Agree. The only altitude issue we had was the altitude of Montana St's 3-point shots we poorly defended! Montana St. hit (9) nine 3-pointers.

Instead of expanding $mut's stadium they should be tearing down $ections to make it look fuller!

I agree the playoff expansion will become somewhat disruptive to the lessor bowls. I watched a couple FCS playoff games this year. I found them very good quality games and the players were all-in on playing for a purpose. Counter that with FBS players leaving teams before Bowls, either for the portal, or sitting out for the draft. Several teams seemed to be just going thru the motions of a game, but more like on a vacation instead of a mission.

I always considered Memphis, Louisville, Nashville, and Cincinnati as similar size cities and supportive college towns. Cincy does have the edge in Pro sports, but Nashville is gaining and booming now. They have the NFL Titans and NHL Predators and are mentioned as possible in the next round of MLB expansion. I had no idea about exact city sizes, but here they are since media market is such a factor these days (2021): Memphis = 628K Louisville = 628K Nashville = 692K Cincinnati = 308K

Yes, the post position must become more involved in the scoring. We need both an inside and outside game. When our 3-pointers are not falling or facing tough defense on the outside then Sissoko (0 points) and Allen (1 point) will be counted on. Time to practice it is in these lopsided games.

I guarantee FSU already has an unofficial invite to join either the SEC or Big10, otherwise they wouldn't be at this next legal step to exit the ACC. They have already crunched the $$ figures to know it's worth the efforts. They are a package deal with other ACC schools too.
