GE&H, you need to come back and visit the campus for homecoming, it's had alot of change. The Ave. D exit off I-35 (newly named North Texas Blvd.) now curves north by the Fouts parking lot. That whole area with a new entryway sign, the new Performance Hall, Gateway Center, and Superpit is really very nice. The only eyesore left there is Fouts (hope soon it'll be modernized too!!). I think the current administration is placing more emphasis on landscaping and greenspaces, they've cleaned up many areas and have plans for more.

#1 - A NEW Football Stadium along I-35. 200,000+ people a day would pass by it and say "Wow"! #2 - More greenspace and more landscaping for the UNT campus. Many people's first impressions of a school are made within the first block of the campus. # 3 - Goldplate the dome on the Admin. Building. Someone tried to make it look like faded copper, but it's looks instead like light green, faded paint.

Iowa finished middle-of-the-pack in several CC meets last year but finished 11th in the Big10 meet.

From FWST: TCU schedule closer to final The 2002-03 TCU men's basketball schedule won't be released for another two weeks, but it is starting to take shape. In Conference USA action, the Frogs will host Cincinnati and Marquette, and TCU will travel to Louisville and Charlotte. Nonconference games include trips to Baylor, Tulsa, North Texas and Virginia Commonwealth, and a home game against Texas Tech. The Frogs began practice Wednesday night and will have their final practice at TCU on Aug. 10 before leaving for Australia on Aug. 11.

I heard we may not have TCU at home either....seems like word on the street is be weary of JJ's boys, not the easy win it used to be!
