Would Tylor Perry be starting or coming off the bench for them?

Clemson files lawsuit against ACC over 'exorbitant' exit fees
NT80 replied to NT80's topic in Mean Green Football
Yes, it's no coincidence that these lawsuits by FSU and Clemson to get out of the ACC were filed after $mut was admitted into the ACC. -
The discussion started with Allen vs Sissoco. Sissoco could be deemed a returning starter from the NIT tourney I guess, once Abou left us. But in nearly every game this season Allen has outplayed him and warrants starting to get him max minutes.

Sorry, far more coaches would say start your best players. In all sports.
-
Perry's new coach starts him. Maybe that's why he left? lol
-
I doubt Michael Jordan or Luka Doncic are starting on the bench. You put your best players on the floor to begin the game to set the tone and hopefully make the other team get concerned and play from behind.
-
Gee, maybe Allen should have been starting??

Who?

More Potential conference movement, which along with the MWC/PAC2 situation, could impact AAC membership in the future... "In a significant move that could continue to alter the rapidly shifting landscape of college sports, Clemson filed a lawsuit against the ACC on Tuesday that portends its exit from the league." https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39765481/clemson-files-lawsuit-acc-exorbitant-exit-fees

Tech Trying to Duck North Texas in 2027
NT80 replied to Green Lantern's topic in Mean Green Football
Dumb to avoid playing teams because they may bring fans. Yes to wanting a full stadium every game! Do we turn down hosting Notre Dame because they may bring a lot of fans and might beat us? -
USA Today article on NIT (UNT mention) "Last year, North Carolina turned down an invitation to the NIT after missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2010 — besides the 2020 competition, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The North Texas Mean Green were happy to accept a bid and ended up winning their first NIT title." https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2024/03/17/march-madness-2024-nit-how-to-watch-tournament/72979748007/

LOL. You need to say you never played your starters at all, in a game like that!

We were both together in the Lone Star Conference and the Gulf Coast Conference.

"The Cyclones rolled to the 69-41 victory, giving them their sixth Big 12 trophy in their sixth title game appearance. The margin was the largest over a No. 1 team since UCLA beat the Cougars by 32 in the 1968 Final Four." LOL

Agree. The failures to close out games are concerning. I also feel we were a couple players short of what other teams seemed to have available. We can't play at this level with only 7 players. We can hang with teams but don't make the adjustments needed at end of games that other teams are making. More pep talk or strategy or whatever. Hopefully Ross learns from this season...and recruits to cover our deficiencies.

Much like the new CFP format. 13 P5 programs to every one G5.
-
It makes no sense for a point producer, or top rebounder etc to come off the bench. Why limit their minutes or allow the opponent to get early leads because our best players are sitting? You will never convince me Tylor Perry was better off the bench only available 35 minutes instead of 40. He's not starting on the bench at KSU.

Allen should have been starting all year.
