We knew this 3-game stretch of Memphis, Tulane and Army would be tough. We lost by 8, 8 and 11 points. We are another year away (with better players and coaches).

I was pleasantly surprised by our bench. In fact, I think a few should be getting more than just minor sub minutes. Vice, Mason, Cotton, etc looked more than ready for the floor.

Those games are tough drives on weeknights just to see meaningless opponents. Tipoff on a Thursday night at 8:10pm, after the women's game, means getting home after 11:30 pm before a school/work day for many. I know it's all just excuses for out of towners. I was disappointed in the student turnout.
