Around the League / UNT Opponents
NT80 replied to Censored by Laurie's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Back to basketball ladies.... UNCG is up on High Point 59-54 with 8 minutes left. ESPN+ High Point has a 6-10 and 7-footer playing. -
Mutual. Respect has to be earned.

I was taking it down to your level of comprehension. But you still can't understand. Let's try even easier for you. Yes, I questioned how it arrived at a laughable #14 ranking for USU. It is more laughable you defending that ranking. Your cute little quips and life philosophy is fine if this were a talk show. Nobody really cares. Your insecurity by still having to demean other fans when they differ from your genius opinion shows.

You don't read very well either. I questioned how they could rank Utah St so high, and didn't think it was realistic. I know they use metrics...big deal if it's not accurate in realistic rankings. CMJ also said early rankings can be off. Are you and CBL related? I used to cut you some slack because you're a dinosaur. You were probably a good NT fan at one time, but now you are bitter about the program. Plus you're losing your memory and social graces. There is just no excuses or hope for CBL. Here is what I said: I question a lot of their ranking order. Utah St. is not #14 good. UConn is #39, and Dayton is #40??

I said the Net rankings were not accurate, just like your posts and NT memories.

Breaking: North Texas Makes Skyler Cassity Hiring Official
NT80 replied to TheReal_jayD's topic in Mean Green Football
Oklahoma hired Washington State’s Ben Arbuckle — just 29 — to be its new offensive coordinator yesterday. He takes over for the fired Seth Littrell, whose offenses sputtered in the Sooners’ first SEC season. Meanwhile, Florida Atlantic picked Texas Tech offensive coordinator Zach Kittley, just 33, to replace Tom Herman as head coach. -The Athletic Plus -

Breaking: North Texas Makes Skyler Cassity Hiring Official

He dad was a college DC for 22 years. So, he could always ask him for advice. Think of it as we're getting 2-for-1... https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2024/06/11/skyler-cassity-is-the-youngest-defensive-coordinator-in-the-fbs-he-didn-t-take-any-shortcuts?ref=article_preview_title -
Oh, I understand their metrics. That doesn't make it accurate in reality. Just like your opinions seem sane to you, but to most posters you're just, well.....
-
Yes, we all know you think you're a sports genius and life guru. But even Mensa members like yourself wouldn't put Utah St 25 spots in front of UConn and Dayton.

No, they were discussing our so-called beat writer Vito.

They had 500,000 reasons ($). "Clark's buyout dropped from $1 million to $500,000 on Monday..."

He will be back to OC somewhere else in 3 years.

Sorry, you have no credibility here!

They are having buyer's remorse.

I'm talking best G5 Conference as a whole. AAC had 8/14 teams with 6 or more wins. MWC had 5/12 teams with 6 or more wins. Plus, Boise is leaving the MWC to the G5 PAC, and UNLV is staying in the MWC...further diluting both.

I don't care what happens to them after they leave....
-
Saved UCF a lot of $$ too.

Portal announcements have already begun for some players/schools.... Sources: Texas Tech WR Micah Hudson to enter transfer portal Hudson is expected to be one of the most coveted receivers on the transfer market when he officially enters the portal on Dec. 9, the first day of the NCAA's winter transfer window. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/42727311/texas-tech-wide-receiver-micah-hudson-plans-enter-college-football-transfer-portal

1 of 12 3pt shooting (8%) will not win many games when you can't get the ball inside either.

Again, the high school teams select the site. SFA didn't start the conversation, except to perhaps tell the UIL their stadium would be available for HS Playoffs. When I was young, most of the HS playoff games I followed my school were held in college or pro stadiums around Texas. I went to games in Lubbock, Waco, Austin, College Station, the Cotton Bowl, Texas Stadium, etc.

Lol. Seasons: 60 (1953 to 2024) What that says is we won more in small college football conferences from 1913-1952. Since moving up to major school football conferences from 1953-2024 (except for the demotion to 1-AA 1983-1995) as we moved up in Conference power, it has become more difficult to sustain winning. That is to be expected if you don't have the resources, donors, and support other major programs have. Also, of course, coaching and recruiting has been unstable. But still we have come a long way...into one of the Top 5 football conferences in the country!
