  1. They paid to swim with the sharks. I hope they get Eaten!
  2. Agree! But I will reserve total judgement until the game results are in!
  3. It's like you can't pay or bribe players.....until everyone does it anyway....ok, now it's alright.

  6. $mut boosters: "How much would we need to offer to pay for a playoff $pot?"
  7. The PAC2 will delay as long as possible and only join the MWC (G5) if no other option is available. They would prefer to raid the MWC and rebuild the PAC but that could involve hefty paid incentives to cover exit fees to lure teams out of the MWC. The WSU Prez said they prefer a smaller 8-team conference. They have a self-imposed deadline of making a decision by Feb 2025. That would give time to negotiate adding teams and a media deal if they choose to rebuild the PAC in time for the 2026 season.

  10. Not a prediction, but a stat from the South Bama fan forum... SkullyMaroo Posted on Sep 2nd, 1:22 PM, , User Since 201 months ago, User Post Count: 13757 Sep 2nd, 1:22 PM 201 months 13757 Right now, before Boston College plays their first game against FSU tonight, we are looking at the following top 5 passing offenses in the country following game one: Ole Miss - 529 yards per game Auburn - 451 yards per game North Texas - 446 yards per game Colorado - 445 yards per game South Alabama - 432 yards per game USA/UNT at least played each other as FBS teams. Ole Miss played Furman, Auburn played Alabama A&M, and Colorado played North Dakota State. (Just don’t look at passing defense stats!).

  14. The circus continues..... NCAA lead attorney Rakesh Kilaru told the judge that the revised rules for how collectives operate are "a central part of the deal." 15. Hardaway should be gone too if he was involved. Memphis has been reading the $mut playbook on violations.
  16. No thanks!!! @HitmenHoops BREAKING: Memphis MBB staff members Jermaine Johnson, Jamie Rosser and Faragi Phillips are no longer with the program, per multiple sources. This now marks seven coaches who have left the program this offseason for various reasons.

  19. The obvious solution to the sun issue is a roof for the Stadium! Roof = Green chairbacks! ........................................................... Seriously, the old Ranger's Ballpark had dark green chairbacks in the sun, and they seemed to survive fine without fading that I could notice. We could buy several sections of those...

  21. While I am a fan of chairbacks, I am NOT a fan of the Black permanent chairback seating in a Mean GREEN Stadium! It wouldn't happen at most schools unless Black was a school color, like TTech. Poor choice, just like Orange seating in the Super Pit when it first opened.
  22. Texas State barely beat FCS Lamar last week 34-27.
  23. Yes, that was the reason they were not picked up by another P4 conference. Not large enough of a National brand. A media consultant estimated their dual addition to the MWC might add up to another 10% value to their next new contract, but not much more. Not enough to really be a revenue changer for the existing membership. OSU and WSU will resist dropping to G5 as long as possible. They want ACC chaos to perhaps join Cal and Stanford there, otherwise rebuilding the PAC and trying to reclaim a "P5" do-over.
