I’m missing the Barbershop Podcast. I mean, the recruiting show has its place and all, but I miss the cast of characters that made the Barbershop Podcast fun to listen to. We had @Evan as the play-by-play guy, @Harry provide the color, and sideline commentary from @BeyondTheGreen. You guys coming back this year?

Ha! I was just watching the replay of the game on ESPN+ and toward the end of the game, play-by-play man John Liddell made reference to something that happened in the “second stanza”. something in the water on the media level last night.

As long as we are complaining about a bunch of stuff, I’m annoyed that the “O” in NORTH TEXAS in the endzone is the wrong font. vs Good googley moogley.

I liked Tim because he was always part of the sounds of Mean Green football. However, he’s started losing his edge over the past couple years. He’s started saying wrong names, miscalling events in the field, etc. I believe the “new dude” is the PA guy from the women’s basketball games. I’ve always liked his deep pipes. He has some work to do to catch up with our traditions, but he’ll get there. BTW, I liked it late in the game when he said the tackle was made by the Law Firm of Davis & Davis.

Do we go back to Tim Couch saying the wrong names on top of the names not being on the jerseys?

I have to be honest. (Well, I guess I don't have to be, but I'm going to be.) I wish the best for Mason Fine too, but if the Dallas Cowboys are in need of more quarterback depth, they probably won't start by looking at a QB from a practice squad in the Canadian Football League. If Mason is going to make a splash in the NFL, based on the path he's on, I think he'll first need to stand out in the CFL. Unfortunately he's going in the wrong direction. Not what I was hoping for him.

@THOR & @Grant.UNT - I took the liberty of moving you on the tailgating map. I'm assuming we'll be in the same spot as last year. Looking forward to getting some good tailgating in!

I see the mask as another opportunity to add additional Mean Green flair to the game day battle uniform of we the fans. I’ll likely wear one most of the time. I’ll be sitting with my 80 year old parents, so I want to set a good example for them. 😉 (All fully vaccinated)
