  1. I was hoping they'd do that this coming season as part of the farewell to Fouts. I'll keep hoping.
  2. In a meangreensports chat room a while back (during the Spring Game, signing day, or something else) one of the green gang hinted that there would be different helmets used this year and that they wouldn't be white. Does anyone else remember this? I haven't seen anything mentioned since then and was wondering if anyone else has heard anything. Go Mean Green and Go Fouts Fireworks tonight!
  3. Red Hook ESB Blue Moon Negra Modelo
  4. Anyone tailgating before the Spring Game? I'm planning on it (assuming they let us). I'm sensing a UNT win from this one. (it never gets old...or maybe it does.)
  5. I agree also. Gives us more real estate for all our upcoming championships and bowl victories.
  6. My favorite(bottom middle): Jub Jub I have this yearbook. I need to get this autographed. :-)
  7. Here is anoter, circa my namesake '90: cheerleaders bottom pic
  8. Just started watching on ESPN360. (No ESPN on the dish due to recent budget cuts.)
  9. I'm fighting adversity to be there, but I will be there (although it will be close to half time).
  10. I hate to hear stuff like this. Sounds like you've been sitting on the student side. Have you tried coming over to the alumni side? It might be a better environment for you (and no sun in your eyes). We'd love to have you.
  11. Apparently not. The next football game MG Premium has listed is the Army game. http://www.meangreensports.com/liveEvents/...?db_oem_id=1800
  12. I apologize if this has already been posted, but I noticed tonight's game will be streamed live through FIU's version of MeanGreenPremium. Cost is around 9 bucks. http://www.fiusports.com/liveEvents/liveEv...DB_OEM_ID=11700
  13. UNT: 38 ULM: 35
  14. In that case, it is I that agree with you. I believe the Mean Green will have established an insurmountable lead by the fourth.
  15. I've been utilizing the DVR to catch this as well. Much better than having to watch it on the computer.
  16. ...and they probably feel too much credibility to lose when they lose to a non-BCS team.
  17. Lance "Get 'er Done" Dunbar
  18. Had UNT won the game 40 to 14, it would have seemed to me that we took care of business. If we disregarded the first half, that's what the score would have been.
  19. And with the win, we still have a chance to be bowl eligible.
  20. I was able to accurately predict some play types today by watching the way that the players looked to the sidelines prior to snapping the ball on offense. I noticed that you can sometimes tell if it is going to be a run vs. pass. If there are some receivers that don't look to the sideline when other players do, or if they just casually glance, the play is going to be a run. I also saw Dunbar look to the sideline almost as an afterthought prior to a play. Low and behold it was a pass play. Anyone else notice this? Maybe I'm imagining things, but I'm going to start watching closer. Could we be tipping our hand?
  21. It's listed on the schedule online, but says "subject to blackout". I'm not sure what scenario would cause it to be blacked out for us in the DFW area, if there is one. http://espn.go.com/broadband/espn360/schedule
  22. Then the tortillas could be recycled for the next game. It goes with the whole green initiative going on at the university. We Mean Green!
  23. http://fauowlsnest.com/board/index.php?PHP...;topic=8625.195 Go to the 10th post down posted by owlfamily. I'm just sayin'.
  24. Good to meet you yesterday, John Denver. Sorry my phone interrupted our conversation. You guys were great neighbors! This is my rookie year for Mean Green Club membership and tailgating at UNT. Great scene.
