I was looking online at the Under Armour hats at Dick's Sporting Goods to see if I saw the hats that some of the coaches, including Dodge, were wearing at the scrimmage today. These weren't UNT branded or anything and I wasn't searching for anything college branded. Low and behold, look what I saw! UNT caps came up in the search...NO OTHER UNIVERSITY (other than a couple Pepperdine shirts). Everytime I go into the Dick's here in Allen, I look to see if they have any UNT stuff and never find any. I was proud to see this. Here is what they look like...

I mentioned this in another thread, but I'd like it if it was ultimately named Villarreal Stadium and nick-named "The V", both for the name as well as for the shape of the end zone stands.

You can register for the 1 mile fun run. It's only $15. I think it's worth it, whether you run/walk or not. I plan to walk with my two kids. I think you get a t-shirt out of the deal too.

I agree. We already battle with them in terms of number of students (tight race for 3rd largest university in the state). It would be great to see them become rivals on the field as well. In terms of drawing out fans, after graduation, I went for several years without going to a UNT game (I'm ashamed to admit). The match up that initially got me back out was when we played Houston at Fouts in the late 90's.

Though I think Jackson and Stradford may lead in yards per catch, I'm feeling that Carey will surpass them in total yards by getting fed the ball so much more often. Just a feeling.

Especially after the RV podcast, is anyone else concerned that we are overmarketing the new stadium with this year's ticket ads? Seems like the focus should be on this year's product. I get the Fouts Finale focus, but for now I'd like to see the ticket sales ads separated from drumming up support for the new stadium. Fire at will.
