  1. Thanks to you and to the others that helped put this on. I had a great time, despite the game result.
  2. I think they are friends with Ray...MIA.
  3. When in doubt, go with the green team.
  4. I'm a rep in Collin County, if anyone needs help joining or has questions.
  5. A few more for you...
  6. Ahhh. The days of the 3rd and long draw play. Exhilarating.
  7. We need to pack the Spring Game as well.
  8. yeah, but the link takes you to an article on McCarney's salary, not about signing day.
  9. Here is the link for anyone that would like to read the article and post their thoughts: http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/college-sports/texas-longhorns/20110120-your-complete-guide-to-college-football_s-national-signing-day.ece The UNT supporter posts on this page seems to be growing.
  10. My suspicion is that they don't consider winning in the Sun Belt real winning. Don't shoot the messenger...just guessing. I'll bet we have to either move to a more prestigious conference or start winning further into the NCAA tournament before the bigger papers start to give us legit pub, IMHO.
  11. Several of us in the board are Reps. For as little as $25/month for 5 months, people can become members. That's nothing.
  12. Mostly just discussion about the fact that Harry bought in at the club level and Evan usually buys 8 season tickets. I wish I made podcaster money.
  13. Per the Athletic Department, definitely at Fouts.
  14. I guess I should have specified road games. I'll be watching the home games at the split too. Wait a minute..."The Split". Is that another potential nick name for the new stadium? Ooops. I don't want to derail the thread I started.
  15. We are starting up a North Texas Alumni Association Collin County Chapter and are looking for a place (restaurant, sports bar, etc.) where we could meet and watch televised Mean Green football games, (as well as other events) in Collin County. We'd prefer to support an establishment owned by UNT alums. Any ideas?
  16. I new I had this clipping scanned somewhere. I finally found it. That was a fun game.

  17. I was sad to see the A-1 Thick and Hearty Burger leave Whataburger. As far as good burgers go, I felt like it at least had another couple years of eligibility. Fan feedback has been mixed between folks wishing the burger luck in future endeavors and those that are ready to stop hearing about Thick and Hearty (labeling it a "quitter") and are ready to move on. I for one say:
  18. I dig it.
  19. Whataburger is in a higher tier above the other two.
  20. He may have gotten a Whopper, but we got Big Mac! (had to be said...I couldn't help myself.)
