I've seen kids at the past two. At the Denton stop, Scrappy was keeping some of the kids entertained during the speaking portions of the night. You can always load her up with appetizers to munch on during the speeches as well.

And this was the game that solidified a trip to the New Orleans Bowl. Somehow there were still enough students to tear down a goal post.

When I saw it, it was in the UNT section at the Fairview location. They usually have about 10 or so UNT items. They are at least moving in the right direction. About 6 months or so ago, they didn't have a UNT section.

Forest scares me.

I doubt they did that press level camera bay work on the west side if they plan to have the cameras on the east side.

I have a few games on DVR that I went back and looked at. Alabama, Kentucky, and UNT all had the cameras on the home side. I seem to remember Army having the cameras on the home side as well because you could see the trees around the Hudson over the shorter visiting side stands. However, Western Kentucky does have the cameras on the visiting side with the logo on the 50 facing the visiting side (verified on DVR). I'd never thought about it before. All that said, I'm pretty sure I was told by someone in the Athletic Department that the logo would actually be facing the home side. Also, the virtual view of the stadium, which is more recent than any other renderings I've seen, has the logo facing the home side: http://www.seats3d.com/ncaa/university_north_texas/football/ One other note, the overhead doors in the middle of the pressbox at Mean Green Stadium are for the TV cameras, so footage of UNT home games will be from the home side.

It was good to see you out there today. If I remember right, Brian Bethea said today that the new turf is scheduled to start going in on the 23rd of this month. 9 days and counting!

It was called The Mean Green Insider, it was hosted by Hank (not George), it was on TXA 21 (rather than FSSW) and it was on through the basketball season. The only downside, IMO, was that it was on at 6am, which is pretty early if you don't set your DVR.

I was going to make the same suggestion. Seems like that would be the only way to completely mitigate the risk you are concerned about. You might have to decide what is most important to you. Otherwise, staring at backs could possibly be another habit that dies hard. You are wanting to sit in the section where the most serious of die hard fans sit. (by the way, I sat in the upper section at Fouts, so I am not one of the folks you speak of.)
