  1. It was great. Jub Jub was doing rim shots on a drum kit to Coach Mac's jokes. Free photos. Free booze. It was great to hear Jordon Case speak to his passion for the university. The music from the DJ was a bit too loud for talking. I didn't realize how well the women's golf team was doing...and how many records they beat this year. Good to see and hear the new women's basketball coach. I think I'll make the haul to Grand Prairie and/or Ft. Worth.
  2. I heard this as well.
  3. I've seen kids at the past two. At the Denton stop, Scrappy was keeping some of the kids entertained during the speaking portions of the night. You can always load her up with appetizers to munch on during the speeches as well.
  4. And this was the game that solidified a trip to the New Orleans Bowl. Somehow there were still enough students to tear down a goal post.
  5. Will this be going up on iTunes soon? For whatever reason, I'm having issues linking to it right now.
  6. North Texas vs. Idaho from 2004. Just showing that there was once a logo on the 50 at Fouts for the young whipper-snappers that didn't know.
  7. When I saw it, it was in the UNT section at the Fairview location. They usually have about 10 or so UNT items. They are at least moving in the right direction. About 6 months or so ago, they didn't have a UNT section.
  8. I doubt they did that press level camera bay work on the west side if they plan to have the cameras on the east side.
  9. They have it at Rally House Texas. http://www.rallyhousetexas.com/7020054.html
  10. I have a few games on DVR that I went back and looked at. Alabama, Kentucky, and UNT all had the cameras on the home side. I seem to remember Army having the cameras on the home side as well because you could see the trees around the Hudson over the shorter visiting side stands. However, Western Kentucky does have the cameras on the visiting side with the logo on the 50 facing the visiting side (verified on DVR). I'd never thought about it before. All that said, I'm pretty sure I was told by someone in the Athletic Department that the logo would actually be facing the home side. Also, the virtual view of the stadium, which is more recent than any other renderings I've seen, has the logo facing the home side: http://www.seats3d.com/ncaa/university_north_texas/football/ One other note, the overhead doors in the middle of the pressbox at Mean Green Stadium are for the TV cameras, so footage of UNT home games will be from the home side.
  11. It was good to see you out there today. If I remember right, Brian Bethea said today that the new turf is scheduled to start going in on the 23rd of this month. 9 days and counting!
  12. Was it something like this:
  13. Great pics, Harry. It was good to see you out there. If you didn't know, there is a spot for uploading caravan pics on http://www.experiencethenewmeangreen.com . Your pictures would be a nice addition.
  14. Posting from the caravan: if you are in the area, you need to head this way. Great set up!
  15. That's great. I only knew about TXA 21. (Used to record it every Saturday.) FSSW would definitely get it more exposure.
  16. This may be why they moved the flag poles to the other side.
  17. They do. It's called "The Mean Green Insider".
  18. "Your mom went to college."
  19. My understanding is that Coach Mac and Jones will be a staple at these, but they'll be swapping out the other coaches at each stop. Come to some more and you may be able to hear from Aston. GMG!
  20. We DID put the best product on the football field...we just waited until half time to do it.
  21. Welcome to the board. Just click on "Start New Topic" on the upper right of the forum you want to start a thread in and have at it. Are you the Grant with the Mean Green Garage by chance?
  22. IMO = in my opinion :-)
  23. Harry Birthday, Happy!
