UNT 90 Grad

I saw someone working at the team store that had one on. She said they gave them out at a recent student event on campus. She didn't know of anyone selling them.

Isnt half time just 20 minutes? How would you get that many people through the hellacious line, slam their beer, and force them back into the stadium in that amount of time. Maybe I'm overestimating what the turnout would be like, but it seems like it would be a chaotic mess with a lot of ticked off people at the back of the line. Plus I'll bet it would backfire some because folks would miss part of the 2nd quarter trying to get a spot in line early.

In KRAM1's spirit of "being honest", we did see at least one instance where a play would have benefitted from some additional blocking from my guy. Looked like he gave up on the play too soon.

Outlaw caught 3 for 35 with the longest of17, putting him second on the UNT receiving list behind Dunbar again. I sure wish the Thompson to Dunbar to Chancellor to Thompson to Outlaw play would have worked out. I thought Outlaw was interfered with, but the hankies seemed to not be in our favor.

We've got the rest of the Arky State game on until the UNT kickoff. $2 16oz PBRs for Mean Green fans.

At least one $2 16 oz. Pabst Blue Ribbon. (That's a Mean Green drink special at Rudy's in Allen.). I'm not sure if I've drank PBR before. If I'm okay with it, I may have another.

I recorded this on TXA21 this morning and started to watch it. They seem to be having some issues with the screen dimensions. If I remember right, last week had black bars at the top and bottom on TV rather than having the show take up the whole screen. This week they had black bars on the sides with the video squeezed out of proportion. The video was shot in wide screen format, but TXA21 broadcasted it in non-widescreen. Hopefully they get it figured out for next week. Looks a lot better on TV than on the Internet broadcast.

Money. That's why not for me. I don't want to give any money to support anything having to do with UT. If we had a deal with the LHN, I'm guessing that squashes opportunity for UNT to be aired on channels I already pay for or get for free. The original question was if we want NT games on LHN, not would you rather see UNT aired on LHN or not at all.

Come out to Rudy's in Allen to see the Mean Green take on Alabama on Saturday, September 17th. Kickoff is at 6:30pm. There will be door prizes and drink specials. Come have an ice cold beer, get some of the best barbeque around and cheer on the Mean Green! Everyone is invited. Rudy's is located next to the Cabela's at the Villages of Allen, Stacy Road and 75. I know Allen may be kind of a haul for some, but who's coming out???

I had a little trouble with AT&T, but wasn't completely dead in the water. I did receive a text about 20 minutes after it was sent at one point.

Apparently my seats were right on the seam between two shots, which resulted in my head being in the shot twice. Kind of creepy. It looks like a clone of my head is sitting in the row behind me, a couple seats down.

You have to be a member (or guest of a member) of the UNT Alumni Association to get into the Alumni Pavillion to drink (though we had an open house of sorts at the Houston game). You have to be a club level seat ticket holder to get into the club level to drink.

Rudy's in Allen. Just sayin'.

My man Michael Outlaw was only outdone in number of receptions by Mr. Dunbar. He was outdone in total reception yards by player of the week, Brelan Chancellor. None the less, Michael hung in there with 4 receptions for 40 yards and a long of 16. I predict a breakout game coming up, but probably not this week.
