Painful to listen to.

Hey Folks, In the event the Mean Green men make it to the conference tournament championship game on Tuesday, March 6th, Rudy's BBQ in Allen has us penciled in for their back room with the big TV starting at 5:30pm for those of us in the Collin County area. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 6pm, but it's always more fun to watch UNT play with fellow members of the Mean Green Nation. Rudy's will have $2 Natty Lights and PBRs for Mean Green fans. I'm not trying to hex the team or anything, but this isn't something I thought could be planned successfully on the day of the game. Go Mean Green and I'll be rooting for us to have the opportunity to have this get-together.

I thought that winning led to butts in seats, not the other way around. I guess ihad it backwards. Honestly I think it starts with winning, which leads to better exposure, which leads to better recruiting, which leads to more winning, which leads to more exposure, etc. Part of the added exposure includes growing attendance, but I'll bet players care more about ESPN highlights than game attendance if given the choice. I'll bet they'd be fine with a half filled house if they new NFL scouts were in attendance. Just my thoughts.

DirecTV shows it on one of the ESPN affiliated stations. I'd set up a watching get together, but I have a conflict Thursday.

I think a green tear rolled down my cheek. The best part of the Super Bowl is over now as far as I'm concerned...unless Brian picks up a fumble and scores a touchdown.

Argh! It turns out I have to work late tomorrow. I hope to still make it, but may be late.

Not to worry. I was listening to someone talk the other day that kept referring to him as Patrick Cobb. It got to where it was distracting from the point he was making. I know...OCD.

Pet peeve: it's "Cobbs'", not "Cobb's".

When I was there, the bar for the Union was the Rock Bottom Lounge. I remember it being pretty low.
