    I'm waiting for someone to mock up a helmet with SOW with "NORTH TEXAS" on top of it or under it (ala the Boise State helmets). That may get my vote (as if it mattered) and, if done right, might address some of the primary concerns folks seem to have...IMHO. It sure would be nice if we could land on something and stick with it.

    I was surprised by the UNT Steel Drum Band that day. It made you want to sit back and drink an island cocktail. It would be great to hear them play during tailgating.

    It never has to be trimmed because it stopped growing when it reached the perfect length. It strains soup without getting damp. Its shade of salt and pepper changes to complement whatever RV is wearing. It exudes the smell of potential North Texas victory. It intimidates other facial hair, so RV never has to shave. It is...the most interesting mustache in the world. "I don't always warm lips, but when I do, I warm lips that are cheering for North Texas. Stay Green, my friends."

    Rudy's in Allen has been a big supporter of UNT as well. They have an NT Alumni flag proudly displayed in the restaurant. Last year they hung football schedule posters in the window and on walls, they let us have watching parties there, they stored football posters in their country store so that Collin County fans didn't have to drive to Denton to get one, and they had their own banner made and hung outside advertising that Rudy's in Allen was the place to come watch UNT football. I think it helps that the Area Director that is over the Denton location is also over the Allen location.

    Great job as always. I didn't get home from The Ft Worth caravan in time to participate live. Benford added to the story about being at the spring game with RV. Apparently RV saw Brett coming along and quickly told Benford to get away from him and scurried off leaving Benford without knowing where to go. Good theater of the mind.

    Did anyone else find a gift in their backseat after valeting at the Plano stop? I hadn't seen anything posted about it and didn't notice until today.

    I was at both the Dallas stop and the Ft Worth stop. There were more people in Ft Worth. I don't think it can all be blamed in traffic.

    And if you aren't already a Mean Green Club member, the sooner you join, the sooner you start accumulating priority points. This helps you get better seats as well.

    Here is what the t-shirts looked like that they gave out. I'm not sure if they will be giving them out at the remaining stops too, but I'm guessing so. The green is the right green...it just looks darker in the picture.
