I remember Corby saying "I'm interested" referring to NT football after the Ball State win. That quickly faded back to nothingness after a few more weeks when it was apparent it wasn't the Ball State team of the previous year.

Building on emmit's last post, I bet the Athletic Department could utilize the Mean Green Club Reps for poster distribution. They could give them a canned sample shpeal to say to each business owner, starting with asking for donations to the Mean Green Club and explaining that their company name would be listed in the game programs. Then end with asking if the Rep can hang a poster, regardless of whether or not they make a donation.

Are there game times on those posters?

Have any of you picked up the 2012 Football Poster yet? (I'm not talking about the half sized teaser poster.) I'm curious if the poster has all the game times on it. meangreensports.com only has 3 game times posted. I'm wanting to start booking for some watching parties and possibly a road trip or two.

That's right! They'll be 85 years young. The free Slurpees will be 7.11 oz. (and actually served from 11am to 7pm). Note that Wednesday is 7/11.

It was mentioned somewhere else in this thread already, but the benefit in question applies to "closed practices". I haven't seen anything that breaks out the # of closed vs open practices. People may be getting bent out of shape over a handfull of practices. I don't think we know yet.

Interesting logic. "I don't want to join that club because it will give me access to something others don't have access to". I don't know if it was intended to come across that way. I also hear complaints that there aren't enough MGC member only events. I guess you can't please everyone.

From the outside looking in, it seemed like the UT vs TAMU game was a much bigger deal to A&M than to Texas. It would surprise me to hear a Texas fan say the A&M game was a bigger deal than the OU game...at least in recent history.

I think they do plan to start selling them. I'd asked about getting some of the left overs for watching party door prizes and was told that they had to be turned over to the retail group.

I'll be making sure they get it at Rudy's BBQ in Allen!

Unless it affects our bowl possibilities, I root for our conference as well as non-conference teams on our schedule. That makes our wins over those teams that much sweeter (or losses more palatable).

It'd be a shame to bring back the Salad Bowl with Cobbs no longer being a player.
