  1. I can't remember which one was played, but I think it may be in the video linked at the top of this page: http://www.meangreensports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=1800&ATCLID=68723
  2. I misunderstood. There is an Uptown Popcorn in the Village of Fairview shopping center (Stacy & 75). It's located close to the Purple Cow restaurant. That's where I got mine. (I thought you wanted a poster.)
  3. I plan to bring some to the watching party at Rudy's Allen on Sept. 1st.
  4. Depending on when they get turned around, I'd be happy to try to sell some at the watching parties in Allen.
  5. That would be Uptown Popcorn. I bought one of those tins from the Fairview location.
  6. Only if the kickers try to kick it short. Tough to do when you can't use the sidelines.
  7. Nope. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/campusrivalry/post/2012/07/boise-state-stays-with-big-east-questions-left-for-mt-west/1#.UDL0Yol5mc0
  8. Maybe something has already been posted about this and I missed it. So I'm sure I'm too old for video games, but I noticed in NCAA 13 that touchbacks were going out to the 25. I did some research and sure enough, touchbacks will be going out to the 25 starting this year and kickoffs are moving to the 35. I don't really care for rules that are discouraging kickoff returns. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/campusrivalry/post/2012/02/ncaa-moves-kickoffs-to-35-yard-line-touchbacks-to-25/1#.UDLx-Yl5mc0
  9. What do apples and oranges have to do with anything in a world where we don't comprehend metaphors?
  10. Cool. It could look like a golden trolling motor.
  11. Good deal. At the cookout there were ads running on the video boards stating that these wouldn't pick up until Sept. 3rd. Glad to see they'll get one in before the LSU game.
  12. The irony here is that this time last year posters were accusing Grant.UNT of wearing a monocle in his club seats. Grant is a great Mean Green supporter and we need more like him. He constantly sells others on our product.
  13. Confirmed. I'll be there for the over nighter on Sept. 7th. Bartender - hold one of those special Mean Green concauctions for me.
  14. I'd like to see a home and home with Mississippi State. (my wife went to school there.)
  15. Interesting that I see a lot of complaints on the board about North Texas having to play top 10 teams, yet Tulsa makes it a goal to play a top 10 team each year. Not saying I necessarily have a strong preference either way, it's just interesting.
  16. There was a link about it on the main page at one point, but as new news came up regarding scrimmages and other sports, it eventually cycled off. Here is a link to the page that the link went to: http://www.meangreensports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205563035&DB_OEM_ID=1800
  17. Welcome. I think you'll find that there is a great variety of fans on this board spreading over several decades. While there are some "kids" on the board you may have served, you probably haven't served "most" of us. We definitely look forward to your insight and perspective. Glad to have you! Also, as you catch up, you can use the search feature to learn about past discussions. For example, the rubber bracelets have come up before, though I don't think you'll find an answer to your question. Go Mean Green!
  18. Pressure of the bright lights. The radio team said he's been catching everything thrown his way at camp.
  19. Brad Shram on the radio simulcast said for North Texas fans to be ready for Dunbar to get a lot of touches next week.
  20. Yes, but that's pretty typical of these things. They have the players that are featured on the poster and a few other key starters. That's how it was tonight too.
  21. There's still time to head here to Apogee. Club level is open. Bounce house is seeing lots of use. Beer stand needs more people visiting. Football player autographs at 7:30.
  22. I'm really not sure what to say about this. Maybe this is for the ladies in the hizzouse. Is this an example of working on chemistry? Looks like they had fun.
