Kicking it up a notch today with a few sirloin steaks topped with melted garlic butter and blu cheese. Caesar salad and baked potatoes with all the fixings along with some merlot to wash it down.

Do we know when the race schedule was finalized vs the football schedule? Do we know when the hotels became too full to house an entire football team? There seem to be some planning experts on this board so I thought I'd start here.

The performance of past coaches and players is relevant to some in that it can help in evaluating decision making of the current administration or what root cause of problems were. For example, if after firing coach Dodge he went and coached another team to a national championship, some might conclude that he wasn't the problem and that our decision making around firing him was flawed. Potentially something else is the problem, hypothetically. Similarly, if JJ lights the world on fire, some might conclude our administration doesn't do enough to keep good coaches around. I'm not saying I feel this way. Just justifying why there is some relevance.

I'm looking forward to Saturday. I expect to enjoy all the extra homecoming happenings and will be watching this Mean Green win from the club level for a change. I'm bringing my bride to this one as part of my annual attempt to get her to drink the green kool aid.
