  1. I'd expect a better turn out for a conference championship game. I'd think if we were playing at home for a CUSA championship, Apogee would be close to packed. Maybe not.
  2. Things have gone horribly wrong if a job results in crabs.
  3. For me, rooting for TCU, Tulsa, Georgia, KSU, and Nebraska.
  4. UCF = quitters. Go CUSA West!
  5. Agreed. MTSU, FIU, and FAU all won't even be in our division, right? I know we'll still play them periodically, but at least our division hasn't started morphing into the Sun Belt (knock on wood). Nothing against our Sun Belt bretheren, but we're geared up for change.
  6. That's thrown me off many times before as well. I'll be reading through a Harry post thinking it is from him until you get to the end and see the link. It'd be nice if these were put in quote boxes.
  7. Maybe they thought it would be a good time to see if you would be looking for a place to donate the money that you normally would have donated to athletics.
  8. Would I like TX State in CUSA? Yes, absolutely. I like the idea of regional rivalries and easy road trips. Should C-USA add TX State? Probably not. Too close to UTSA and doesn't add a big incremental TV market. They'd be better off looking elsewhere first. I sound like Coach Mac and the way he interviews himself.
  9. Size doesn't matter...at least it isn't the only thing. I believe UNT is bigger than some of the schools I think you've lumped in with the "big schools".
  10. He said "as recently as 2001". I don't see how any further definition is required.
  11. Make sure your drinking is unorganized. You don't want to be perceived as organizing something in conflict wit the women's game that will be going on at that same time right inside.
  12. Woo hoo! Thanks for doing this! I wish I could make it. Dang conflicting obligations.
  13. MWC = take the good with the bad WAC = take the bad with the bad
  14. Big East, Big Easy. It was only a matter of time.
  15. Was there something special going on at 9:35 in UNT land or did working America reach a peak of work avoidance?
  16. I think we still have around 5 OOC games left to schedule over the next 6 years, most if not all of which would be at Apogee. Can we wait until they are scheduled before we start complaining about them?
  17. It's all about the context in which it's used. Same could be said for Texas, Oklahoma, etc. vs talking about the state.
  18. Continued our streak of having winning records at Apogee.
  19. Try goin to this thingy: http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sun-belt/north-texas-mean-green.php
  20. Would a watching party for the game against WKU on Sat. 12/29 be a better idea? I just learned it will be on ESPN3.
  21. Are you trying to get him to filibuster on his 4th year at Wisconsin? I feel like I haven't heard that one in a while.
  22. Heck, just go down the forum topics: Why was last year's record better? Will Derek really address the fans? What will happen if UTSA beats us next year? What was your win/loss prediction for the year? How are you really doing at recruiting? What was meant when you brought up your involvement in recruiting that WKU kid to Florida? Will spring football answer a lot of questions? Are we stepping into the Brock Berglund era? Are interlocked NTs on helmets sweet to you? How much do we have to do heading into CUSA? How are you doing vs advertised? Was the loss Saturday your fault? Did you drink beer or Grey Goose following the loss? I kid, of course.
  23. Yikes! I'm glad team USA is okay. Looks like Johnny had to use his head. They may need more donations for sled repairs. Seriously, I'm glad all are okay and I wish the team good luck.
  24. UTSA > Texas State > UH > North Texas based on this year's results. Is losing to UTSA that far fetched? Just sayin'.
