Get with your Mean Green Club Rep. (Assuming you have one) and ask them if they'd work with you and the university to set it up. I'd do it, but I'm a MGC Rep. and Grapevine is out of my district. I want to be respectful and not step on any toes. That said, if you pull it off, I'll do my best to be in attendance. I'll bet you'd have a great turn out. If you don't have a Mean Green Club Rep., reach out to Jessica with the MGC and I'm sure she'd be happy to assign one to you, whether you are a member or not.

I’m hosting a happy hour on Wednesday of next week (April 10th) in the VIP Lounge at Fairview Down Under starting at 6pm and going to 8pm. This will be a great opportunity to get with fellow North Texas supporters and talk about the the Mean Green’s inaugural year in Conference USA football! They will have $3 draft beers, bottled beers, wells, and house wines available for purchase. They will also have $1 off all other drinks. We will have a drawing for door prizes, courtesy of the Mean Green Club, including some sweet (or suite?) football tickets. Tulsa on the road for Thanksgiving weekend. Yet another reason we should have good home attendance numbers...no home Thanksgiving game.

My ring slid off my numb finger while I was helping get a car unstuck during a snow storm in Denver. I rented a metal detector a day or two later, but was never able to find it. My folks bought me a replacement for Christmas a couple years later, but they were unable to get the special centennial class stamp on the side that my original had. I wear my ring every day, even though I get beat down with people asking me if I went to A&M.

Courtesy of my recent knee surgery, playing this year just isn't in the cards for me. However, I'd love to volunteer with the game day setup/teardown team. I have access to a PA too if we need it.

I'd think # of hits would be important for selling advertising, but what do I know. Regarding giving this guy the boot, he's a former UNT student that doesn't always have positive things to say. If that is boot worthy, it seems like this board would get pretty quiet if enforced. Just my thoughts.

Speaking of helmet talk, if you look close, the pattern on the AF helmets is made of stealth bomber silouettes. Pretty cool.

As long as it's not while the 49ers are playing, I'll bet the crazy prospector could find that big ole bear for him.

Not that I'm aware of. I talked with one of the Denton County Alumni Assoc. volunteers and it sounds like the usual suspects in that area are traveling or otherwise unavailable over the holidays.
