For those looking for a family friendly place to watch the game, I encourage you to check this place out. The restaurant has multiple rooms, so it's not like you have to sit in a bar environment. TVs all over the place. Great looking menu with a scratch kitchen.

It's being broadcast on DirecTV 626. You have to pay for the sports tier package that includes it.

I'm no player, but I seem to recall one if the players mentioning that they spoiled LA Tech's homecoming during the radio post game show. Therefore, I concluded that at least some players are aware.

By the way, I tried one of the Coach Mactinis at the watching party. (Green Grey Goose martini.) I'm not a big martini drinker, but it was pretty good. Funny seeing it on the receipt. This post has been promoted to an article

I watched some of the Rice NMSU game last night. NMSU was sporting pink jerseys. Hayden Fry was ahead of his time with pink locker rooms to show other teams that North Texas was breast cancer aware.

I'll bet they were very shocked to find him busting through the protection.

I'm guessing you made it out there and that I met you. If so, I hope you had a great time. I counted right at 20 Mean Green fans (and a couple bulldog spouses). That's about half what we've been having, but I know some of the regulars traveled to the game. I about have a location for next week finalized. We'll have an alternate location since the game will be on Fox College Sports ( same channel the Tulane game was on). The alternate location is very likely to be Game On Sports Bar & Grill, also in Fairview, TX.
