Hitting the surplus on a Tuesday when it's open to the public is a much better deal than fighting with the crowds at the garage sales if you want a jersey. You can take your time going through them. That's where I found my Walter Priestley New Orleans Bowl jersey. The price is right too! I need to go back and check out the cleats. Last time I was there they would only sell the cleats by the palate. Must have not had any takers.

Hmm . I'm not sure what they are referring to. I've been in Allen's indoor football practice facility. It is at ground level next to the stadium.

Posting softball on the football forum is hexing our ladies. That's what the numbers are telling me anyway.

I saw Johnny honored and perform the cerimonial first puck drop at the Allen Americans game last night. Pretty cool. The Americans then wore sweaters that matched the USA Olympic sweaters in their 6-3 win over the Arizona Sundogs. Looked like Johnny was interviewed by the radio simulcast team during the game.

Regarding the Brelan play, I think the timing is just as impressive as the speed. They time the snap of the ball, the spin, and the handoff just right so that Brelan doesn't break stride. This is the same play they ran against K-State in 2012 in the red zone with the same result. Don't understate DT's role in making this play so smooth.

Old Scrappy is not coming back. That costume was falling apart. It was really bad on the crown of the beak. Also, the material had thinned out do much on the beak that it looked like he'd been shot in the face with a shotgun when the light hit just right. Also, I wouldn't look for a jersey on new Scrappy any time soon either. Do you remember the cartoon version that came out first?
