  1. Current North Texas Athletics Assistant Director of Sales Matt Phillips at QB. Jamario spending some time at RB. Johnny Quinn's pre-bobsled days. Dickey still driving the Buick. The arrow was pointing down back then. We'll see how we do now that the arrow is arguably pointing back up.
  2. I bought a bottle today...but saving it for the Bloody Mary mix before the SMU game.
  3. Just noticed after "Throw the ball, genius", you can see "NT" is painted at center court. It's covered by a duffle bag in other shots.
  4. Anybody else watch that EWU/SHSU game? While my eyes were burning from looking at that field, the eagle screeches on EWU first downs brought back memories. I'm going to follow your idea and pop Necessary Roughness in. Good idea.
  5. I was in there again today too. I think they are sincere. I'm working with one of the managers on having a UNT Alumni event at the store once they finally get their stuff in. They'll let us set up a table with info on the alumni association and offer 10% off UNT merchandise. We'll see.
  6. Don't throw it to stone hands!
  7. What color/finish is that face mask? Looks like something more than your average white.
  8. I went last night. I was late and they were out of Beth Marie's ice cream, but had free samples from Horny Toad Café, Dominos (I think), Jimmy Johns, and others. I could hear Mac talking through the PA as we arrived. Hank was the MC for the event. When we entered the stadium, I saw the players out on the field and a hand full of students. The band played some of the usual fan fare. They were doing a bit of a competition letting some students try to catch touchdown passes from our quarterbacks. Mason Y'Barbo was calling this portion of the activities through the PA. He'd announce their name and give his opinion on how they did. This was followed by field goal attempts and punt catching. The night ended with the band playing the alma mater and fight song. The band continued to play as we were leaving. They also had free fans and water. They were definitely pushing attendance for the SMU game. As you can see from the pic, attendance was pretty good. Lower bowl on the student side was pretty full with a smattering of folks on the home side.
  9. I went and checked out my black spot tonight. Fortunately it backs up to a patch of grass...in between the lot and the Alumni Pavilion. Pretty sweet, but it's labeled for hybrid cars...so if anybody asks, the hybrid emblem fell off my van, okay?
  10. The writer messed up a bit there. I'll bet you can figure it out.
  11. Says who? It is what we make it. I'll be there.
  12. Wow Harry. I didn't realize that was out and hadn't seen the article yet. You have some mad Internet skills. In related news, thanks to Eddie Delgado for setting up a special deal for our organization to purchase tickets to the North Texas / SMU game.
  13. Too expensive. Still have to pay $100 per seat.
  14. Link to the code and paragraph reference? I've searched for it before, but couldn't find what seemed to be current.
  15. Craig just got a fumble recovery.
  16. 181 on Tme Warner Cable if anyone cares.
  17. Just calling it what the manufacturers call it.
  18. It's not just you and it's not just this episode. I've had multiple issues with the wifey that have stemmed from me Bluetoothing the Barbershop podcast in the car and forgetting to turn the radio volume back down when done.

  20. He's been released? Oh wait. I've been reading too many UT press clippings. Sorry about that.
  21. "Students are encouraged to enter through Gate 2, and all other fans can enter through Gate 2. " Huh?
