Rudy's in Allen is booked for the Rice game!

I for one am glad that he's starting to not care that his back has always been against the wall.

meangreensports.com now has the game time listed for North Texas vs Rice on 10/25. Kickoff will be at 11am on "Fox Sports".

Dunbar looks like he's gotten quicker. There was one catch where I thought he went out if bounds too quickly and didn't give enough effort to try to get a first down. (It was a 2nd down play leaving it 3rd and short.). He looked to be jumping into one of the scuffles. Good to see him standing up for his team mates. Saw at least one tackle on special teams. He seemed to do everything asked if him today.

I hope they were the right things. I hope they were calculated to produce a specific response based on what he knows of his players. I hope it was not a case of emotion getting the best of him and saying things he might regret. Dajon looked really pissed on the sidelines after being pulled. I hope he was pissed at himself and not the coaches for pulling him. We'll see how he reacts this week after being compared to an 8th grader by his coach on the air. Let's hope he really has matured. Let's hope he steps it up a notch. Otherwise, if he reverts back to the Dajon of the summer this week, all the Dajon apologists are going to have a fit when Dajon doesn't start on Saturday.

The pants do seem straight off the rack Dickyesque. They look like cost shortcuts. We should do a few garage sales and lemonade stands to buy them some black pants at least with SOW on the hip and maybe some green stripes down the sides. From what I see, they just have the generic white Nike swoosh.

Actually, I think DeepGreen is right. The field goal (and George's quote you reference) is around the 5:20 mark. The kick at 3:05 DeepGreen pointed out is different and seeing as we only had one field goal in the game, looks like the 3:05 kick was an extra point.
