    Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the coaching staff usually says things like "McNulty is our starter right now" (leaving the door cracked) rather than statements like "McNulty will be starting against SMU". I think it's McNulty's job to lose between now and September 12th. Competition open.

    So where is the funding going to come from for the Internet video based show? Will we have to PPV? Will it be sprinkled with advertisements? Will Ashton have to wait tables on the side to make ends meet?

    They decided it was in the Mean Green Nation's best interest to scrap the podcast and redo it, incorporating a professional fashionista to settle the great jersey debate once and for all.

    Not really. My hypothesis is based on RV saying the new Nike plant couldn't exactly recreate our uniforms and my guess is that they would take the opportunity to try to make some "improvements" (needed or not).

    I expect to see a black uniform this year. I expect it will be similar to the HoD uniform.

    I'm assuming they can't feasibly replace names and numbers. Maybe I'm wrong.

    Incoming freshmen don't have uniforms from last year. Am I missing something?

    The reason the uniforms were changed this year is because Nike changed plants and couldn't exactly duplicate last year's uniforms, per a podcast with RV. You could use last year's unis if you don't want the freshmen to suit up, I suppose.

    I'm fine with the uniforms. The helmet improvement was a pleasant surprise. I like the green sleeves with the black SOW on the white jersey. The only thing I don't like are the italic numbers on the white jersey.

    I thought they normally sent them out pretty close to the first home game. I usually start getting nervous and I'm not nervous yet. :)

    Seriously. People already know this from the Fight Song. It already has hand/arm gestures that go with it, so people have a visual cue. Just sayin'.

    I'm told that this week SMU updated their seating chart at Ford Stadium reflecting that they changed their section assignments around and that the visitor section is in a different place now.

    He missed the opportunity to point out that both schools' stadiums feature artificial turf painted in the schools' primary colors.
