I always heard that the slight curl at the ends of the SoW wings were a nod to the flying worm, which had the same wing tip curl.

They also announced that all game coverage will be carried on the ESPN family of networks and streaming services. No more games on Facebook/Stadium. -
Why is RV’s picture no longer on the UNT NIL site
UNT 90 Grad replied to meangreenfaninno's topic in Mean Green Football
Not fair and not true. The man brought tailgating to UNT football. -
ChatGPT was no help in suggesting a new sponsor. As an AI language model, I don't have real-time information or insights into specific sponsorship deals or business considerations. The selection of a naming rights sponsor for a stadium involves various factors, including financial considerations, brand compatibility, and strategic partnerships. It would be best to consult with the relevant stakeholders, such as the University of North Texas administration or marketing department, to determine the best next naming rights sponsor based on their specific goals and priorities.

I bought the hoodie that you bought. Nostalgia for me. That was the helmet logo when I was at UNT. First time I recall seeing that logo on merch. #bringbackthestateclub -

Morris and Hodge Coaches Caravan coming in June 2023
UNT 90 Grad replied to Jonnyeagle's topic in Mean Green Football
If you attended the CUSA tournament UNT pregame festivities and liked the location, you’ll like where the Frisco caravan is being held. <ninjaface> -
Until the man recently shut down the SBNation Underdog Podcast (CUSA edition), it was one of my favorites to get insight on the conference as a whole. The Mean Green Barbershop Podcast was my long running favorite, but lost something without @Evan and @BeyondTheGreen as regulars. My now favorite is The Green Room, even though they are now part of DCTF.

UNT 90 Grad replied to Tommy Gadberry's topic in Mean Green Football
To belabor the metaphor, it’s not a better job, it’s the same job working for a competitor. -

Derek gonna be their QB coach?

I’m pretty sure if the schools are paying them, some rules are being broken.

The records you shared were teams playing against higher competition. (AAC > CUSA) You didn’t include ACU because they played against lesser competition? They were 7-4. If we aren’t considering strength of schedule, is ACU a greater hurdle than Cal, Navy, Temple and Tulsa?
