Agreed, these events need to be created by the AD. They are easy to do and great marketing tools that are free. Plus they look better when they are created by the proper source. I thought they were trying to do better with the whole social marketing thing.

Maybe this has already been mentioned somewhere else but wouldn't surprise me if they were waiting for the Apogee deal to be announced so they could put Apogee Stadium on the tickets. I already recieved the signle game tickets I bought for the Houston game though and they say Mean Green Stadium.

I suggested last week on the Mean Green Football page that they make "events" for all the home and away games so that we could invite people and get the word out but they haven't.

I bought two additional season tickets this week in 105 next to my group of friends for a friend plus 7 more single game tickets for the home opner for other friends. And I know a handle full of other people ready to buy tickets for the home opener on Monday. I keep telling people to get your tickets early for the 10th cause it will be sold out.

Going to the FIU and Tulsa games.

Since I've never been to Miami I don't know where a good place to meet is but we definitely need a place to meet up after the game and on Friday for those of us staying into the weekend. Maybe we can also talk about who wants to tailgate before the game and get some beer lol.

Just got the shirt in the mail today! I'd been wondering where it was. Its a lot lot nicer than I expected it to be. Navy color with a simple and nice Sun Belt patch over the left chest and its light weight nice material. Good for working out or hot days. Way better than I thought it would be lol.

We are lucky to have him and he is aways willing to talk to the fans. Great guy.

I would like to see UNT on the helmets too but it is a great looking helmet.

I like to blow up facebook with tons of pictures of the game and my friends while at the games, and if we are winning pictures of the scoreboard. This is much easier to do with wifi. Plus any time 30,000+ people gather in one place AT&T service tends to crash. Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is a perfect example.

So is the store open? Does anyone know the hours? I am just super excited to have a store besides the Union or Voertman's to go to. Now if only they can put a team store in Frisco...

If only they had announced the Kickoff Cookout just a little earlier. I planned a weekend trip out of town that weekend a couple of days before getting the email about it. I am going to miss seeing and sitting in my seats and that makes me sad. :- (
