I think I'll go ahead and book a hotel room just in case. Any idea on what the team hotel might be?

Marriott Southern Hills

I'll be up there on Friday but the rest of my group isn't coming till Saturday. Staying at the team hotel so I'll be looking for some people to hang out with Friday night and watch the Rangers game with if anyone is interested. I'll also be eating dinner at Mazzio's down the street from the hotel before the Rangers game if anyone wants to join. I really like Mazzio's and we don't have them here in DFW.

The Sun Belt as it is works and doesn't need to expand with SJSU or any WAC school just for the hell of it. Being lucky enough to play the big boys as a warm up game for their conference games as this AD states... I hate the idea of 10 conference games and 2 OOC games. Call me old school but 8 and 4 works good if you ask me and lets you see how you stack up to the the rest of the country. I may also be a bit out there on this but I like the Sun Belt and hope it can grow and expand. You look at what FIU is doing right now in football and our strong basketball programs, we aren't that bad. VT AD...

I show its on channel 445 for DISH NETWORK and it doesn't say anything about it costing $25. Right now its just a blank screen that says check back to see if your favorite team is playing.

That facebook event page going around for the first home game of the season is now confirmed as wrong. Good find, I have friends still in school at Texas Tech so I will try to go.

I saw an ad in the latest North Texan for basketball season tickets that said get your tickets today by going online or by phone. I went online and there is no info for the 2011-12 season but there is info for the 2010-11 season... Anyways, I will be getting 2 season tickets this year and cannot wait! I'll give the ticket office a call tomorrow to see what the deal is.

I should be getting to the hotel around 1:30 on Thursday. SoHo and I will plan on seeing everyone at the tailgate!

I got an email from stubhub that said get my Mean Green tickets and saw there were some listed on there for the home opener. They still have us playing at Fouts Field though. Anyways, this is a great idea and great way to cut out those too damn high middle man fees like what stubhub charges.

Looking like there will be some good home and road games. Can't wait.

I got a tour on Wednesday from Jon. When I went up there RV was giving a tour too to a group. Can't wait for game day!
