  1. I agree whole-heartedly...especially those who post on this board under a DC comic book hero's monicer.
  2. You are so Greek. Is it odd that this is all I quoted from your thread? I don't want to diminish anything you wrote by focusing on this one word because I felt it was brilliantly written and had some really good ideas (especially electing Kucinich), but there are times that one word can make not just a sentence, but an entire passage. And this is that word. Thank you.
  3. Getting woken up in that special way?
  4. Caden Dickerson 6'4" 185 Shooting Guard. Hilltopper Haven The Tops also pulled a kid from Mesquite, Cory Remuken, a 6'8" 195 forward - More Topper discussion that they aren't getting top 100 talent like they should. Their new head coach is Ken McDonald, a former UT assistant, so it doesn't surprise me that he's targeting Texas.
  5. I too love sports. I smell a very unexpected hijack...
  6. Fixed using one of my favorite words
  7. Americans are very fickle when it comes to their politicians. Really I think most are masochists UNT alumni are already very tight with their donations and loose with their affiliations...if they weren't you would think that a school with 118 years of history and a current enrollment of 34,000 would have little to no trouble drumming up 60 million dollars. Not fulfilling promises to these students would only continue the disturbing trend of giving the middle finger to alums
  8. Nobody is arguing that...but presenting it as fact that it will happen is dangerous. Dozer was simply pointing out that the only facts in the why section were that the stadium will be LEEDS certified and that Fouts is shit. Making such statements about conference affiliation, donors and national recognition are not facts and creates an indiffencable position.
  9. Not that I doubt...well at least #2...but by including these statements you are opening yourself up to attack. Questions like "Can you prove that this stadium will improve our conference" don't have answers. Are you showing this as is and it has already been submitted? The more I read and look at it the more flaws I'm seeing and am concerned that with tight vote putting poor information may sway the 27 people who read the Daily. For clarification...I quoted Green Dozer in support of his concerns...and am directing my questions toward UNTFlyer...it was kinda an awkward quoting I suppose.
  10. Sam Bradford would never give up a playoff earned run.
  11. Much more concerned about the other article: Yay Capitalism!
  12. Playing devil's advocate...do you think it is best for the headline to be a vote for the stadium when the actual vote is for the athletics fee?
  13. South Carolina? or the Ivy league University? If it were the school that would actually be interesting considering some of the accessibility issues that place has...older buildings that aren't very handicap friendly...and Washington and Morningside Heights can be a difficult area to navigate for even the fleetest of foot. Also...hehe at "Its AP style"
  14. Mmmmm...pie
  15. I swear to God ph34r is really starting to piss me off
  16. Yeah...huh? I just checked Tech's roster for the past three seasons and there is no Hamilton
  17. I was wrong...my Lester-boner is pretty serious right now...I shouldn't have played it off so flippantly earlier... nor should I have worn tight jeans to the office today
  18. Ahhh...Denton
  19. I've always thought Forrest Rucker would probably put on another 20 or so pounds and move to DE...but now I'm starting to think he'd make a great tight end. I'd like to think Dodge is a smart enough guy to realize when his offense needs tweeking and that a tight end could be of great use. The recruiting board also lists a couple of TE's considering UNT.
