Well I have a source close to Obama that says he's considering naming Malia Ann Obama as the new Secretary of the Treasury. I think this would be disasterous...considering her size and age and lack of experience. Sure...she'd be a good fit in Agriculture...but Treasury? In this time of economic crisis? Scetchy move.

I just can't get behind Obama until I see some results with his new-fangled initiatives and programs. Sure, there is evidence of them working elsewhere in the world...but we're USA and it's unfair to compare us to other countries. Say what you want about Bush's traditionalist approach to running the country, but he kept us safe while providing us with a few, good lasting memories. His legacy may be tarnished by basically taking off the last two years of his administration...but it was Obama's choice to decide not to use what Bush left in his Cabinent and try and restock on his own...it certainly wasn't bare when he took over. Results are the only thing that can now legitimize an Obama administration...I can't just rely on "Hope"

I love you. I seriously cannot believe what I've read so far. Chris and GB...you guys post regularly here in the basketball forum so it leads me to believe that you have a pretty good grasp on the sport...but your comments are really making me second guess my assumptions. The game was won...over...finished. All either coach wanted to do at the end was watch the clock go to zeros...the refs wanted the same and put little cotton balls in their whistles except on blatant fouls. This happens all the time...few basketball games really end with lopsided blowout scores even if it was a lopsided blowout game. Playing starters any longer than JJ did last night is problematic for two major reasons...the chance of injury and karma...karma being the biggest when the blow out happens to be against a conference opponent you may see in the conference tournament.

Yes, there is more to it. Our lack of size...up front anyways...really has nothing to do with this team's struggles, especially when Tramiel, Odufuwa and Hogans combine for 35 points on 12-25 shooting and pull down 23 rebounds, including 10 offensive. The problem...as I have been saying since the beginning of the season...is that this team lacks a point guard to provide leadership and improve shot selection. Its the reason you haven't seen a consistant line-up and its the reason this team struggles towards the end of games. I take solace in two things. 1. This team is still very talented...5 players have had 20 point scoring nights. I promise you, nobody in conference wants to play us in the touney b/c they know how hot this team can get. 2. The key pieces of this thing are back next season, and in most cases for the next 2 years...if the 2 remaining scholarships are well allocated this team should turn the corner.

Who does more random drug testing, the International Cycling Union or Todd Dodge?

Stephen Schwark - Listed at 6'2" - 2007 as a freshman - 9 games played...107 of 146 (73.3%), 1251 yards, 7 TDs 8 INT...28 rushing attempts for 31 yards 2008 as a sophomore - 7 games played...43 of 60 (71.7%), 267 yards, 1 TD 3 INT...31 rushing attempts for 41 yards, 1 TD Schwark split time in 5 games at QB as a sophomore, but those 267 yards were still good for tops on the team, so I'm guessing Tyler runs the ball a lot.

The other Taylor was a throw in, but a 2 star linebacker throw in...we could use a 2 star linebacker, especially if it also means we're getting a safety with a Big 10 offer. And don't get me wrong...I'm happy having Jackson.

Hilbert Jackson in...is it wrong that I kinda wanted him to bail, nothing against the kid but there are a couple of kids waiting around (the Taylors from Mesquite) who I think would've been better options?
