you need size inside at DT and at DE to demand a double team. when you have that, LB can excel. otherwise they have a guard hanging on them.

Run the ball & stop the run. It's how you win games. We are WAY too small on the defensive front. Lincoln does an admirable job inside but coming out of high school he was 240. He's the size of player that should be your strong side DE. We cant play him there because we need him inside. Moving forward, we seem to be loading up on DBs & WRs. disproportionately to D linemen. Nothing against the players but you can't win at this level when your ends don't weigh 230 lbs.

Our front 7 is too small. Our entire D line rotation is too small. We have a national champion D-line coach on staff here & we can't sign any larger defensive prospects. Incredibly disappointing.

The issue is not going to Gainsville. The issue is skipping Tarrant county. WAY too many alums over here to pass over. Especially coming off a 9 win bowl champion season when the resident Frogs did so poorly. -You gotta make hay when the sun is shining.

To answer your question, yes all three events. There was nothing dismal about any of them. In fact at the last event I brought two tables of friends. If the expectation is 300 plus, clearly other efforts need to be made to inform the masses west of 35E. Half the friends I brought knew nothing of the event. I won't complain for the sake of complaining so if it's NCAA compliant, why not invite coaches & recruits? Trinity, L.D. Bell, Aledo, Martin etc. I'm sure we're targeting kids on the Clear Fork. However if you continue to think that Gainseville & Mexia are more fertile grounds to grow alumni support, your just being an ass.

So you're going to abandon the western half of the metroplex to cater to Gainsville. Outstanding.
