per Vito's sunday blog, it might be time to hit the reset button on all our projections with Odoh. amended... 1. CJ 2. AW 3. Jacob 4. Roger 5. Tony
-
His basketball credibility to me is no different than Overlander at this point. We really need to see him play with the rest of the squad before any type of determination can be made. The only reason I had an unproven/unknown Hardwick starting in a scenario from my previous post was because he is a *Benford Recruit*. I think Patton would have to blow the coaches away in practice to earn a role since he didn't play last year and is a transfer.

Until Odoh attends his first UNT basketball practice I fear counting him as part of the team. I'm also figuring that our odds for a very raw juco player being effective at this level is slim (even when surrounded by a massive amount of talent). I sincerely want the guy here and to be succesful but there are so many unknown variables that we might be spinning our wheels with another tall center who lacks basketball instincts that quits after a couple seasons. I was one of the many that wanted to see Tony on the perimeter playing the 3 last season but his defense is so valuable under the basket that we might be in big trouble with nobody to replace it. If Odoh is not ready (or not at UNT) I see him staying at the 5. In my perfect world... 1. CJ 2. AW 3. Tony 4. Roger 5. Odoh (dependable for 10-12 rebounds and 3-4 blocked shots per game... teams would be terrified to drive the lane if Tony was at the 4) I don't believe Alzee is the most talented to play that position but he's earned it. I would love to see him continue to prove me wrong (like he does about every game) and end up with his name in the rafters. We don't see many highlight reel's with him but he's always efficient and reliable. Yes, I saw Roger's statistics the last several weeks of the season. I don't care... stil my favorite and you can't change my mind. So what if this puts all our rebounders on the floor at the same time. In a realistic world, I'm thinking we might see something like this (if Benford tells everyone on board that they are fighting for their job and years of service dont matter - otherwise, expect a lot of AW and Holman in the starting lineup)... 1. CJ 2. PJ 3-a. JW 3-b. Tony 4-5. Odoh

Junior Seau Commits Suicide

he was top 3 all time tecmo bowl defensive talent along with Reggie White and LT. ronnie lott made a strong case for himself in the 1st installment of the series and either deion sanders or rod woodson should only be considered in the special teams category. -
The Diablo III Beta Is Now Live
Maduro replied to KingDL1's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
i played during the free beta weekend while blizzard experimented with server capacity. I hate to make the claim that this game might ruin marriages but it seems like it will have a lot of depth and will continue an entertaining story. My only fear is that it might be a little too much like diablo 2. Starcraft 2 simply couldnt break the shadow of its predecessor by making the graphics a little more 3D. It was still the exact same game and it didn't take long for Americans to move on to something else. The type of gamers that can stick with one game for months (or years) might end up demanding a little more imagination after spending so much time on the previous versions. There is a reason why WoW's sales and subscriptions are plummeting and it's mainly because people (like me) got tired of repeating the same tasks in every expansion. This formula has always worked great for console games (example - Call of rainbow las vegas duty solid modern recon black-ops ghost warfare part 70) and i'm still guaranteed to buy every rockstar or halo game. I'll be at gamestop at midnight for the release and I still plan to be at work the next morning. -
I would add Allen, Southlake, or Ryan High rather than FIU for athletic facilities alone
-
i would rather not ever play against Leach. I lost count of the OOC games that guy ran up 70 on.

is it okay for me to wave a 2x4 and flag while chanting USA during SBC games this year?

There is a vicious cycle of false superiority complexes in this part of the country... Longhorns say ugly things about the Sooners, Aggies say ugly things about the Longhorns, Red Raiders say ugly things about the Aggies, Mean Green say ugly things about the Red Raiders, Mustangs say ugly things about the Mean Green. if the Bears and Frogs would stop being so nice to everyone I would gladly welcome them into this mix. Perhaps winning all the time keeps them from running their mouths.

he's from a team that got the ball in Jae Crowder's hands a lot. I think this will be a great coach for Tony Mitchell.

because... sports can hurt you very bad if your not careful

in lieu of being tramatized by this video i decided to visit the LSU athletics website basketball page to simply read a few headlines. The smile on his face in a couple of the pictures drove me insane and I will not be visiting that page anymore. This would be a lot easier to handle if he had simply never worn a green tie while pretending to have a non-monetary interest in unt. don't worry, i won't be needing a lecture on why 99% of all coaches at all schools act and feel the same about their job as jj did at unt. I also take pride in my work and am thankful that my current employer has given me the opportunity to excel at something i'm good at. this whole situation is another example of why sports hurt so bad.

Coach Mac is going to be incredibly lonely at these events given our current rate of coach attrition.
