I've got a similar background... many years in Lubbock, parents graduated raiders, dad took tickets at the football and basketball games and snuck me and my brother in for free. i honestly thought that when i started at UNT that i would continue to be a fan of tech. it wasn't until i facepalmed myself at the end of my freshman year that i realized what i was becoming. I will give him an opportunity over the course of the next week to apologize for his comments and pledge full allegiance to unt. if this doesn't happen, I hope somebody informs RV and the rest of the committee that decides who's jersey gets raised in the pit what just occured. Our donations help pay for these guys to get an education and become an ambassador for our cause. When he signed his letter in intent someone obviously needed to do a better job explaining his role during and after his tenure.

this is so much better than starting off the year with a game against a top 5 Jayhawk team on the road. Creighton is well coached and the whole team is very disciplined. Each of them brings their lunch pail and is a coach on the court.... real students of the game.

I'm really jealous of the 7 home games and that they are all on Saturday. Those prices seem a bit steep for me to end up with a table cover that probably has a cougar painted on it... Lupe's has just earned my pre-game business.

This Houston game should have a good amount of green. I've convinced my sister (unt grad) and brother-in-law (aggie) from Cypress to join my wife and I. We're still working on recruiting a couple more buddies from this area for the road trip but I bet we have a good looking section. I google mapped their stadium and I can't tell if this place has a decent tailgating setup for visitors. i understand that everyplace can't be apogee with it's immaculate nearby stadium parking access, friendly denton natives, coeds in boots & short-shorts, hot coal disposal drums, porta-potties, plush landscaping, and endless meadows as far as the eye can see for me to throw a canopy and grill on - but a worst case pre-game scenario for this road trip would be Lupe Tortilla beef fajitas and I can deal with that.

last years game had the ability to add custom sounds/music (including fight songs at the appropriate time) and I assume this one will have the same capacity. I'll probably have it before the end of the week but diablo 3 continues to consume all my gaming time. There were a few sites that gave good instructions and links to sound effects for all teams that could be downloaded to the system hard drive on last year's version. adding them to in-game events takes some time and patience but you could really make a true game-day experience. edit... i'm on the 360 version

i'm feeling the same way after watching a few of his cuts behind the line in the spring game. is it bad that i have such a good feeling about our line, receivers, and stable of QB's to compliment the running game this season? I know i'm crazy to think our secondary is our "only" weakness in the belt after watching the past half decade of unt football... i'm just unreasonably comfortable with our current staff and players. i know we will miss Bowen at DC but im going to continue to believe that Mac will guide us to another improved season. thanks for the great post LT!

is it just me or does putting together every post regarding coleman from every topic on this board make him sound a lot like AlonZo Edwards 2.0? the fact that he's another big and raw young talent coming to us from Nebraska is just a coincidence but i feel like we saw these same posts a few years ago.
