I've always thought Hank has done a great job in the booth and see no reason to ever make a change. I live and work in Denton and it's hard to go to any business/charity function in this town without seeing the guy working his rear end off and promoting UNT. If he ran for mayor he'd have my vote.

why doesn't everyone just go to cabana and spike their cheap/weak margs with your own tequila like i do before every B-ball game? it's substantially warmer than Fouts parking lot will be.

i bought 2 today at voertmans for $15 each. Weather.com still has a %90 chance of rain throughtout the late morning and afternoon. looks like i'll be breaking out the dreaded plan B and moving my tailgate to Hooters. it makes me sad that I'm going to miss out on my last opportunity to set up camp this year but 5/6 PERFECT pre-game weather conditions is tough to beat.

i have zero complaints regarding the recruiting part of the game. It's pretty freaking amazing. In fact, I spent far more time doing front office stuff for the team than actual game time on the field. The problem is when I'm on the field, it's absolutely hopeless for me to try and make an attempt at a defensive play unless the difficulty level is set on easy. I haven't had any issues running the offense on other difficulty levels but i do feel that the AI does not treat screen plays appropriately. For what is normally the most explosive play in real football game, I'm simply unable to execute one that nets at least 5 yards.

your not. i play just about every game on easy now. i lost all my patience to learn a new game every few months a couple years ago when i hit 30. what sucks is that i have a friend that has become WAY TOO GOOD at halo. it used to be a lot of fun just getting a group of buddies together and doing a split screen. Now I can't even walk 3 steps without getting shot in the head. i actually started spending more time waiting to re-spawn than playing the game.

i've built a winning tradition with my fajitas so i guess that means i'll be rolling with them for another week. however, my wife has grown tired of the 90 proof coconut rum so i've decided to mix up the beverage rotation a little. the newest addition to my tailgate will be margaritas. i make my own simple syrup and mix that with even amounts of fresh squeezed lemons and limes for the sweet & sour. after that its 2 parts tequila (el jimador - anejo), 1 part presidente brandy, 1 part triple sec, 3 parts sweet & sour, then i float 1 part gran gala. as soon as i get my grubby paws on some agave nectar i'll start to really trick up this recipe. if i get time tonight, i'm going to whip up a fresh batch of salsa. nothing too fancy... 3 tomatos, 1/2 white onion, 1 red bell pepper, 2 jalapenos, 1 serano, cilantro, a few shakes of salt, pepper, sugar, paprika, cayenne, cumin, and smoked chipotle. go mean green

I dont think our shooting percentage could possibly be that bad in the 2nd half. I like our chances but the vegas line seems correct so far.

Best Post Ever i miss actually playing defense... remember how awesome Junior Seau, Reggie White, LT, etc were. The new EA games (college and pro) i usually just put my controller on the floor since the ai can actually separate from an offensive lineman or stay within 10 yards of a receiver. I still refer to all UNT quarterbacks as "QB Eagles" no matter how much of a statue they are.

close... but more of him having a general idea of what he is going to do when he starts his dribble and following through with the plan. it was nice to watch him not change his mind after making a decision. he showed some experience and executed. i think we will all be cool with his excessive shooting if he can stay out of any slumps.

Holmen seemed like a completely different player... nowhere near as timid with the ball or on defense when compared to last year. Chris Jones has something. Niko may have something... but his something is VERY raw. I'm really looking forward to Jordan Williams Junior and Senior seasons after he puts on about 15 or 20 pounds of muscle in his upper body. Did I really see a 7-footer hit a 3 in a non pregame warmup situation? No visible issues with Norris backing up Jones for the next 4 years at PG. I require more dunking.
