My friends and I are looking to hopefully latch on with a tailgating group. 6 guys, all UNT alums, looking for someone who will have a TV going with the Bama-Penn St. game on. We won’t eat any food, we will donate to the cause, we will have a cooler with our own beer, and a cooler of Green Jell-O Shots (don’t judge) to share. Good group of guys, ready to celebrate this glorious occasion. Any invites or generosity of any kind will be greatly appreciated. GO MEAN GREEN!

I didnt say go listen, I said dont go to rudys when they are there, and if you do to shoot them the bird. I dont care what that coke head says, I dont listen to that spare show and I never will. Does it matter what he says? No. Does it matter hwat anyone says? No. But he bashes the program I support so f him. I know UNT is a bad program right now, doesnt mean I have to be okay with someone bashing it. I support my program, and Ill have a problem with anyone who bashes it. Thats part of being a fan. Thats how fans should be, passionate. The UNT fanbase needs more of that if you ask me. Dont be apathetic.

I bought my 6 tickets yesterday. Im also a student but Im sitting on the alumni side with a group of recent graduates. Looking forward to the game, I hope its full. The students better show up. I too see the ticket thing as a problem. As a student I have noticed that not too many people know about it. There were a few people who were wearing apogee stickers that they got if they picked up tickets. That was a good idea because it got people to ask questons and find out that they have to go pick up tickets. Id say that the 2000 tickets sold out of the 36k students is a good indication of the percentage of students who know that you have to go pick up tickets. The disconnect between the students and our athletic programs is ridiculous. Lets get our butts out there, support the program, and enjoy the stadium. Im realistic, not expecting w's anytime soon, but im going to do my part and try to support as much as I can. If you dont go to a game the rest of the season, be at this one. Im going to tailgate hard, and enjoy the f out of it. Dont care what the score ends up being.

All you have to do is go to espn3.com. If you want to stream it from your computer to your tv, use an hdmi cable. Or use playon, or and xbox. Or go to the stadium. Your tv provider has nothing to do with this. If you cant go to espn3.com, then your internet provider doesnt support it. If thats the case, go to a bar or starbucks that has free wifi. Or listen to kntu on the radio or online. Im watching on my tv, from my computer through an hdmi. Go mean green! Also, the espn watch app may be an option. If you have a good friend that has it, ask for their account info to sign up. That may allow you access to espn3, but dont hold me to it.

I have no idea how im going to tailgate. I got a group together, mainly alumni from dallas who havent been to a game in 4 years if ever,about 6-10 of us. I doubt we will be able to set up a tailgate. Think we grab a couple of cases of beer and sit on the hill, maybe try to meet some new people.

I just wish there were more videos or pictures of it for those who didnt make it.

Two on offense, two on defense, and the special teams captain will be selected each week based upon performance and leadership (code for they have to earn it). The captains on offense are QB Derek Thompson and his right hand man so to speak, center J.J. Johnson. On defense the captains are sophomore linebacker Zachary Orr and cornerback Royce Hill. Interesting picks to say the least, Thompson is a quiet leader as is Hill. Orr is starting to become more vocal, just by his position he has to, and demonstrative in being a leader of the defense. Special teams, well I'm just glad it's an emphasis again. Each captain has the responsibility for communicating between the players and the coaching staff through the season."

Great! Im already a stars season ticket holder, but they need as much help as they can get right now. Although, the lenders and tavares have cut back on deals. Cant wait for new ownership.

Thats how bad it has been, and its going to be a tough long haul to turn it around. A 5-7 record for north texas next year would be a welcomed improvement and step in the right direction. This staff didnt inherit much and it will take them a while.

Well, you cared enough to comment. Look, uniforms have become a big deal in College football. You can thank Oregon for that. It matters to the players and fans, and it can actually affect recruiting, marketing, and revenue. It may be superfluous, but its going to be talked about. Traditionalists may not like it, just as they prob dont like current students b*tching about having to walk half a mile to the stadium. I have a much bigger issue with that than I do with unifrom talk.

1. Baseball 2. Super pit 3. Track 4. Indoor Practice Facility 5. Golf How much could a new track facility cost? That should be done in two years. Baseball and Super pit(jumbotron at least) needs to be done in 5. Golf could also be an interesting avenue, anyone know anything about how college courses work?

Yes to all of those, but more importantly a video board. It is ridiculous that the pit doesnt have one. There also needs to be some concession/bathroom upgrades, and general upgrades in the building. Also they could redo the tunnels and the way the floor is configured.
