I searched again this morning and this guys name is still showing up in a lot of articles not just for our job but with others. If he learned how to run the DFW portal from Sonny we ought to interview him. He also just won the Broyles award for best assistant in the country. I am with @MeanGreen_MBA let's get him if he's available.

I'm really thinking all of this is a smokescreen and it is Mosely. Wren did too much good here for us not to hand the reigns over to his right hand man. If Wren is the Lone Ranger, I think Mosley is Tonto.

I like where you are going with this but it also seems risky. We would need to pair him with a very experienced Wally Rig type of assistant HC to help him along the way.

The role of the search firm has evolved. Now with so much info on coaching candidates available online, the search firm mainly provides confidentiality and sets up interviews. Candidates don't want to be uncovered as looking around by their existing schools. They are basically like an agent or broker that gets paid a percentage of the total contracted amount. In the old days they represented candidates and would come up with lists.

I can attest to this. Ive inquired and been told they are all sold out and have a long waiting list.

Coaches want this job!! They see the potential here. People see the facilities and it blows them away!

I want us to bring in top notch assistants that can recruit. I cant state emphatically enough, we must learn from our hiring mistakes. Littrell had no clue on how to recruit when he arrived here. We can’t afford another mistake in that area.

Thats not a bad idea! Courting new donors ahould be a part of the hiring strategy as well.

.. that Patrick Cobb and other UNT coaches have tweeted about the Frisco bowl invite but our head coach Seth Littrell has stayed silent on social media??? Maybe its just me reading too much into this but you have to admit it seems off.
