I think keeping it between 2 touchdowns seems reasonable -

Absolutely. We now hang with Tulane, Memphis, Army, Navy, Rice, Tulsa, UAB, FAU, Wichita State and the rest. Much better conference.

Should our AD & President make a statement?

Call me paranoid, but I sense SMU's greasy fingers on this. They know the ACC is about to implode with Clemson and FSU leave (maybe even Miami now they have blown up). They have always been fast friends with Tulane and Memphis from back in the original C-USA and then AAC. So I think they are advising them to hang tight as the rewards for their patience will far outweight the sugar high from moving to the POS 2! -
This was a tough one because I think Vegas has given us too many points. But on the other hand, we shot ourselves in the foot last week with all of the interceptions in the 2nd quarter.

Looks like we have been left behind again. I would hope that Jarrod is on the phone with Texas State as an immediate replacement.

At the game I saw so many flying worms and NTSU shirts and hats. Young people seem to like it a lot. It made me think, should we just embrace this and go back to it now? I think it is very unique and identifiable.

I know this seems premature but my buddy is a fairly good donor for them and he swears they already have for sale signs out at Joey MaGuire's house. He thinks that Eric Morris is their #2 with Kliff Kingsbury also in the mix. They also secretly hope they could convince Sonny Dykes but may not be able to afford him with McGuire's buyout.

TH: Did you always want to become a professional wrestler? KVE: No, actually football was all I thought about. I was probably better in track, but I just loved football. I played fullback at UNT [then North Texas State University]. Hayden Fry was the coach. I was so dead set on being a pro football player, I never even thought about wrestling. But then I had my first knee surgery, and then another, and then two more. In wrestling, you can kind of go to your belly and put your knees out of the way, but in football, tackles and blocks are directed to your knees. Even with wrestling, you’ve got those leather boots on, and we sweat so much in that ring that my boots would get heavy—the socks would soak up that sweat, you know. That’s why I began to wrestle barefoot. Because it felt so good to have that weight off my knees.
