  1. "why would you choose a place like North Texas?"
  2. I find it interesting that everyone is so enamored with La. Tech. They used to bad mouth us all the time back when we were in the Belch and they were in the WAC as I recall. Don't remember them throwing any help our way back then. Excuse me if I choose not to forgive them for past sins.
  3. Wasn't Craven the one who said we should be ashamed of hoping for better than Littrell?
  4. Can someone please explain to me why we are scheduling teams like FIU and La. Tech from our old conference? I see no reason to do that as these games provide these schools and CUSA with a lot more than they do us.
  5. Respectfully, it only takes one big check and you could get this program started quickly! We could use the high school fields until a new stadium is constructed as well.
  6. If I recall correctly, there was a fan they had the game on a projector screen at the Fouts field and there was a pretty big group of us watching it there. They played their games in an old airport hangar. Fun memories for sure.
  7. Beyond time for a change and that change is not Karen Aston either as I looked and her record ain't that great. Maybe we need to hire a man this time? Who knows but it seemed to work better for Texas.
  8. I sure wish the school and the AD would get more behind these guys. Having baseball would be awesome in the spring for us. It is such a great way for people to reconnect with the college in the better weather months after basketball is over. Surely there is a general university fund that we could tap into to get this initiative off the ground.
  9. I hear you but I still think winning consistently is the key. After that and perhaps as important is winning key "opportunity" games. Littrell was horrible at that. An example would be the Mean Joe HOF game against La. Tech and of course the many openers as well as home games with SMU that were basically over in the first half. You cannot do that and build any type of consistent attendance.
  10. I have to think Tylor Perry will go down as one of the best to ever play for us. And I think Javion deserves HOF as well. A darkhorse would be Mardez McBride.
  11. Cal will have a big advantage because Bloesch knows all our personnel and plays.
  12. Great info @UNTLifer
  13. How is he a proven coach? He hasnt even really been a coach that long has he?
  14. Yall must all be rich cause 75 solid is a damn lot of money to me on a teachers salary!
  15. https://www.kohlskicking.com/player-profiles/mikaeli-nguma Kohl's Comments Nguma recently competed at a 2022 December Showcase Camp. He scored 10 points on field goals, 107.8 points on kick-offs , and 105.39 points on punts. Nguma also attended the National Invitational Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He scored 25 out of 36 points on field goals, 106.7 points on kick-offs, and 97.2 points in punting. Nguma graded out at the five-star level as a kicker at this event. Nguma also competed at the Kohl's Texas Showcase camp in May of 2022. He had a very impressive camp on all three disciplines and showed us that he is one of the top combo prospects in the country. He made 9 points on field goals, scored a 115.9 on kickoffs, and a 103.72 on kickoffs. Nguma competed at the 2022 Spring Ranking Event. He showed improvement in his leg strength in both kicking and punting since his last camp. Nguma can hit kick-offs over 70 yards and is still getting better as a punter. He has the tools to play in college!
  16. Damn SOC is a powerhouse!
