  1. How can you not like Tex Mex man? That's just odd.
  2. Excellent analysis @Censored by Laurie

  4. Jordan has official visits set up this summer with Tulsa and North Texas, but right now he’s focused on leading Southlake to their first state championship ring since 2011. https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2023/05/30/new-dctf-three-star-jacob-jordan-still-works-like-he-doesn-t-have-any?ref=related_thumb
  5. Haha. Once the Buff bail, that conference is a heaping pile of dung in a shitty time zone. I seriously doubt SMU leadership will approve that move.
  6. We are starting to be included a lot more with TCU and SMU than we have in the past. I am speaking to high school coaches and players as well as camp selections. Not saying we will win all of those battles but we will land some. Under Seth, a lot of players just skipped Denton and hit TCU and SMU instead.

  7. He seems very confident. I think he’s going to be fantastic!
  8. 9. NORTH TEXAS MEAN GREEN A new coach always provides renewed excitement, but it also causes roster turnover. North Texas wasn’t immune. The Mean Green must replace expected returners such as defensive end Cam Robertson, linebacker Larry Nixon III, and wide receiver Jyaire Shorter. That’s not to mention breaking in a new quarterback and replacing the production of KD Davis, who graduated as the program’s all-time leading tackler. All while playing in a tougher conference. The good news is that the front half of the schedule is easier than the back half. read more: https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2023/05/15/post-spring-power-rankings-for-fbs-teams-in-texas?ref=article_preview_img
  9. Nice find. Enjoyed reading that.
  10. I feel bad for Wren. I really do. But his laissez faire attitude as an AD is proving quite problematic. There were a lot pf people telling Wren he needed to deal with forcing Huggins into retirement or just making a change. Wren policy is he never fires anyone and smiles a lot. This usually works well but not in this case.
  11. Proud of these girls!
  12. Andy Blount?
  13. Best of luck to Grant. He is a class act. Tragic what the system did to him.
  14. Yeah I keep hearing that college enrollment keeps shrinking and yet UNT's keeps going up. What is the deal with that? Is it that we are doing more online or perhaps the UNT Dallas school?
  15. DALLAS (May 3, 2023) – After a stellar first season at UNT with the women’s tennis program, freshman Matilde Morais landed on three different All-Conference USA teams as she earned Second Team All-CUSA honors in both singles and doubles as well as landing on the All-Freshman team. Morais was honored on the doubles team with sophomore Jasmine Adams who earned All-CUSA honors for the second consecutive season after landing on the All-Freshman team and Second Team Singles a season ago. The combination of Morais and Adams teamed up to post a team-best 9-5 record while playing exclusively at line one throughout the year. From Jan. 14 to April 19, the duo won 10 consecutive doubles matches including a win over Maryland who was ranked as the No. 53 ranked doubles team in the country. UNT has now had a duo earn Second Team All-Conference honors in doubles for six straight years dating back to the 2017-18 season. This also marks three consecutive seasons the Mean Green have landed a player on the All-Freshman team after Adams earned the honor in 2022 and Saki Oyama was named in 2021. Individually, Morais had a phenomenal year, posting an 11-4 overall record with nine wins at line two and two more at line one. In dual play, Morais won nine consecutive matches to start the season, matching a school record for consecutive wins to open a career. In the fall, Morais won eight total singles matches and took home the line two singles title at the UIW Fall Classic. For her efforts, Morais was named the C-USA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week on Feb. 22 after her wins over USF and DBU. Since joining C-USA in 2013-14, UNT has placed at least one player on both the singles and doubles all-conference teams in nine of the 10 seasons. The Mean Green finished the season with 11 victories and advanced to the C-USA Tournament Quarterfinal for the sixth time in the last seven seasons.
